Unfortunately, it happens more recently for some reason.
There can be genuine reasons for holding keeps for an evaluation or if the faction has a low pop bonus, but not for hours.
On PC NA GH a few days ago the EMP of one factions' group was wiping tri keeps and camping temple gates of another faction with no scrolls, while the third faction has tri keeps and 2 scrolls.
Stuff like this kills pvp but it is up to the players to call it out and stop it.

Yes it's probably been requested hundreds of times before, but I'm sick of the Arcanist class I created a few weeks ago being killed in battlegrounds after 5 seconds from light attacks, and doing no damage at all (I know I need more skill points). I'd like to try Necromancer, bit I'm not starting from scratch again (Skyshards, Riding Skills, Zone Quests, Crafting Skills etc). It's repeat after repeat for each character created.
Secondly, another class change token.

Ooff. My friend.. you will find necro ermm challenging. The skills are buggy and it is not...uh... what it once was in pvp. That class is a struggle bus for anything but support for pve. Its a buff [snip] or a ot or a healer. Thats it. If you want something for pvp necro is really not the way you want to go especially if you are relatively inexperienced which im guessing you might be? For arc stick to weapon skills for damage, dont use fatecarver. Use their shield and armor skill lines to keep you alive. Arc is kinda B tier for pvp. Its a dks world in pvp rn..corrosive and leap. Warden is hefty but little damage. Nb is very high damage but also high skill. If your not good with it you will get crushed.
