Pretty straight forward issue. The Chimera doesn't count as a card for the purposes of discarding for the Almalexia Patron cost. Almalexia couldn't be activated in this scenario. After trading Chimera for a different card, I was able to use Almalexia's button again.

"In future content we will probably adjust this model somewhat (The BOP model). It's definitely nice to be able to find a cool item that you don't need and trade it to someone who can't wait to get their hands on it." - Wrobel

I believe its with all agent cards, or at least taunt agents (blue health). I've encountered this with many different decks agent cards. Cannot say for sure if its intended this way or that certain cards are bugged. Will keep an eye out

Interesting. In the past I've wanted to discard Tribunal Sentinel and Mercy mother Elite and not been able to in order to pay the Almelexia Patron's cost.

That is somewhat a relevant play too since one may not want to play one of those Agents right away in the case that a Celarus Patron is already favored and Patron victory is the goal.

One thing almalexia deck has taught me and changed how i play when she's one of the decks is the order i play the cards in my hand due to the donate function and how late that feature combo can activate when suited cards that do not have donate on them are put in play. This inadvertently has led to many turns ended with cards still in hand. Ive noticed many other players doing the same. Usually this is after the combo runs out and any left over cards added to the accumulated gold or power still wouldn't be enough to do anything effectively.....presumably these are gold or starter cards. Makes a nice pocket to not play an agent, especially if you get a shuffle to go along with ending your turn. How you know what I dumped? What, is there a mirror behind me or something?

The opponents draw pile, played cards pile, and cooldown pile can all be scanned in order to see what cards may be available for different purposes throughout the game.
