That Time is Now.

I used to think that Pounce and Profit and Grand Larceny could just be tweaked.

Perhaps they could just be changed a little bit and then not lead to toxic gameplay.

I was WRONG.

It's become clear...

While I normally win a good number of my games, Pounce and Profit or Grand Larceny make games converge to a coin flip.

One card is changing the chances of the opponent winning by something like 30%.

That % change is a hallmark of poor balance.

Not all cards can be balanced perfectly.

Some cards will help players win more than other cards.

But a 30% increase in winning chances based on a card that can be purchased on the 1st turn with zero interaction is EXTREME.

I used to think that Pounce and Profit and Grand Larceny could just be tweaked.

I used to think that they could just be changed a little bit.

Maybe increase the cost by 1.

Maybe change the combo effect a tad.

No, I was WRONG.

These cards should be changed in a major way.

And Almalexia gives a solid template as to how the cards should change.

Almalexia the balanced.

Almalexia, clearly the deck that developers labored over to elevate solid gameplay over flashy gameplay.

Bardic Veneration

Festival of Forbearance

These cards are well designed, don't impact the game too heavily with respect to when they can be bought, but are still powerful deck inclusions that anyone can consider adding to their deck throughout a game.

Pounce in Profit

Grand Larceny

Baby, your time is up.

It's time to say farewell.

Toodeloo

Arrivederci

I channel all of my energy for you to become the following cards.

Send me your power. We will need it.

Something obstinate is in the way.

Pounce and Profit:

4 Cost
Gain 2 Coin.
Combo 2: Knock OUt - Place 1 of your opponent's active agents into their cooldown pile.
Combo 2: Break - Opponent loses 1 prestige.

Grand Larceny:

4 Cost
Gain 2 Coin.
Combo 2: Knock OUt - Place 1 of your opponent's active agents into their cooldown pile.
Combo 2: Break - Opponent loses 2 prestige.

As has been decreed...

These changes will take place.

It has been willed.

I will it!
Don't tank

"In future content we will probably adjust this model somewhat (The BOP model). It's definitely nice to be able to find a cool item that you don't need and trade it to someone who can't wait to get their hands on it." - Wrobel

I personally also think kill an agent should be combo 3 effects. But yeah, these cards are a big part of the problem with the Rahjiin deck.
