Why can't I see "sticker book" weapons on a character?

ORIGINAL POST:
Only recently looked into "Reconstruction" of sticker-book gear using a Transmute Station. First, I experimented on the test server (PTS) to make sure I understood how it works. I then went to the "live" server and started cycling through my "mule" character to unload the set-gear they had been holding (for years). This, of course, freed-up a lot of inventory.

On the EU server, I have 5 mule characters, all under level 50. 4 of the mule characters (levels 3, 23, 33, & 44) can see all items in the sticker-book (all armor, weapons, and jewelry). However, 1 mule character (level 14) can see armor and jewelry but cannot see weapons. Hmmm. That character is level 50 in Blacksmithing, Clothing, and Woodworking. The character has 7 to 8 traits learned on each Woodworking weapon (the staffs), but cannot see the learned staffs in the sticker book. On the NA server, same story: several mule characters and all but 1 can see all sticker book pieces. 1 character sees armor and jewelry but not weapons.

I went back to the PTS and created a new character. That character (with no crafting skill trees and no trait research) can see everything (including weapons) in the sticker book.

Does anyone know why a character can't see weapons in the sticker book? I mean, if a new character with no crafting skill trees and no trait research can see weapons, I would think any character should be able to see weapons. Is there something I did (that I can un-do) that prevents them from seeing weapons?

UPDATE:
I toggled "Show Locked" off and on. Now the Restoration Staffs show in the sticker book for some (but not all) sets, but no other weapons. Oddly, the restoration staff is not showing (nor any other weapon) for a set where I have all pieces (i.e., reconstruction cost is 25). As I said, this is just for this 1 character, all other characters see all weapons.

    Problem Resolved:

Turned out to be very simply problem caused (as is so often the case) by the player. I just realized that there is a "Weapon Type" selection up at the top. Apparently, all weapons types are selected by default. At some point after character creation, I must have somehow de-selected all weapon types, then subsequently selected only Restoration Staffs/Staves. All I had to do was select all "Weapon Types" and everything is good now.

The odd thing is: This happened on both of my new Arcanist characters, one on the EU server and one on the NA server. Thing is, I have no recollection of ever going to the "Set Items" tab for either (since I only recently started learning about set reconstruction on the test server). Hmm. Glad problem is solved.

nothing should limit your ability to see items in the stickerbook, there is no crafting requirement to view your gear collection from the collections menu

if your talking about from the transmute station, that is a bit different

if you have show locked setting disabled, then it would hide all items you have not collected, but this option should not affect sets where you have all items collected

also just to keep in mind, that there are some sets which do not have ranged or melee weapons, like if a set requires a melee attack to proc, it will not have any ranged weapons (bow or staves) to be collected (common examples of this are the "light speaker" set in elden hollow which only buffs resto skills and the only weapon available for it is resto staff)

if your looking at the sets through the transmute station iself though, there are limitations on what lvls some items can be recreated at, like mythics and monster helms can only be recreated at max lvl (cp160), i dont have low lvl toons often so i dont know exactly how this interaction is handled

as a last resort, i would probably check if there was some kind of addon issue if your on PC that may be interfering with the display

that is unusual then, never seen that happen on any of mine, but i also rarely have new characters (the arcanist toon i have is the first toon ive made in almost 2-3 years)

it might be good idea to maybe make a post in the bug forum and include screenshots/maybe submit a bug report in game too
