Latency jumps
Hi all, can anyone explain why I am getting latency jumps? My latency starts at 40 and then jumps as high as 75 then will jump back down to 55 then 40 back to75 or 65.. you get it lol.
Why is this happening? I have ran various pingplotter/winmtr and see no packet loss. I’m kind of at a loss. I don’t seem to be lagging but just want to understand why I don’t get a steady latency. Thanks!

✭✭✭✭✭pretty sure thats just the eso server
my "stable" ping is usually in the 80-100 range, but every once in awhile ill see it spike to 300-400 for like a few seconds with no noticeable effects, then it drops back to the stable range
the only time i see it being a problem is when it stays consistently high (for me i start getting lag at 120-140+ ping)plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

RicAlmighty✭✭✭✭✭The latency has nothing to do with players' internet connections, it is 100% Zenimax's servers. I have even seen circumstances where I was in one part of a delve, all of the enemies frozen and then suddenly I am dragged through the geometry to a previous part of the delve where an enemy is. That is completely due to server latency. The servers are simply not up to the task of handling the current load. For whatever reason Zenimax chooses to not spend the time or money to correct these issues.
Every day this happens, there is less and less of a reason to continue playing this game.0 -
Childeric✭✭✭The game has been fine latency wise, I have stable connexion, FTTH, no issue in any other game, just latency peaks in ESO since the update. Notice that I can't even log in currently with error 103. (4:5:287:0)0

How long have you been getting the Error 103 when logging in?
Normally this error should stop after waiting for at least 10 minutes to log-in.
