Hi everyone! Due to the time in ESO that some of you lost over the weekend because of login issues and/or unusually long queue times, we are extending the Zeal of Zenithar in-game event by one day. This will change the end date from August 8 at 10:00 AM ET to August 9 at 10:00 AM ET. The extension will be applied during the scheduled maintenance on August 7.

Thank you again for your patience.

Should have been posted in General to begin with. I don't look at this sort of subforum. General Discussion is where stuff like this needs to happen.

The excessive queues and log-in times also impacted the last days of pvp campaigns. It removed the opportunity for regular players to engage with that part of the game effectively, so potentially cost rewards which cant be balanced out by zenithar rewards: if you can’t get enough people in, you can’t impact the map. This right after the 25 day extension of the last campaign in order to create a month-long campaign system was frustrating.

So, unfortunately, extending the zenithar event doesn’t make up for that in any way.

It's literally pinned to the top of the forums in Recent. Recent is the best approach to these forums.

As @jaws343 mentioned, it is pinned to the recent tab. But additionally, it is also in the Dev Tracker. We recommend checking there for anything relevant directly from ZOS. It's a bit easier. That being said, this feedback is being taken into account for future posts.

We went back and forth between posting in Events or in General. Ultimately, this is an event update, so it made sense here. But we also understand the value of having it in general. We can always move it if more people feel differently.

    Thanks, @ZOS_Kevin.

As others have mentioned other aspects of the game like pvp have been impacted but the event is probably the most played, despite nerfs, so the extension is appreciated. As is posting the information here on the official forum.

@ZOS_Kevin Can I just note that Dev Tracker isn't very accessible on the mobile version of the site? There's no menu button for it, as far as I know.

There is at least one work around on a mobile device, using the Discord App, Elder Scrolls Online channel, forum-dev-tracker lists the Dev Tracker posts. Since I keep the Discord App on my phone because of the PS/NA guilds that use it for trial signups and such, this works for me.

Thank you. While issues that impact gameplay will always be a hot topic, I appreciate the consideration and acknowledgement of the impact these issues had on players during the event.

Plus the forum's categories are easy to browse through, their names are self-explanatory for the most part, and every forum on the internet has categories. I find a post in a subforum saying "I don't look at this subforum" to be a bit disingenuous.
