house storing capacity proposal

i've lot of houses and i think have a store capacity for each one will be a great improvment to the game.
so there will be a good reason to collect more if you have something back.
this is my proposal:
noble: +10 storing capacity
classic: +5 storing capacity
stable: +1 storing capacity
all the storing capacity will be add to the bank one
what do you think about?

    I think that, in order for the staple houses and rooms to actually add utility, they need to have a decent storage capacity of their own (i.e. not added to the bank but accessed from the F5 UI inside the house). I.e.

    1. Rooms should have built-in storage to 480 items
    2. Staple houses should have built-in storage to 960 items
    3. Classic houses should have built-in storage to 1920 items
    4. Notable houses should have built-in storage to 3840 items

    And double for subscribers is not such a big deal because some of us go through a dumper's depot phase where we avoid the important question of "Will I need it?" "Will I regret parting with it?" "Should I keep it?" with inventories typically piling up into several thousand items over a "few days" between trade runs (because trade is just such hard yakka!)

    My thoughts on this tend to revolve more around the need for a wider selection of storage containers which could be crafted and placed in the house e.g.

    240 items
    210 items
    180 items
    150 items
    120 items
    90 items

    not just the 1x 30 items which can be crafted and the 3x 30 and 4x 60 available in the Crown store. Moreover, a lot of containers already in houses are broken and have no storage capacity when these are existing assets which could be used to fill out some or all of the container roles, above. Seriously, it was very disappointing to buy a furnished house for the first time and be confronted by missing UI on objects that one would normally expect to be used as containers based on their role in the rest of the game.

    But that's just my thoughts on this...

    infact i think for the all game the inventory/storage capacity is capped to low

    so to incentivize collecting houses, i had the idea to put more space globally, that is much convenient: like the storage boxes that share the same content everywhere you place them.

    with eso+ you have bag storage for all materials, but for the rest, there is no reasons to keep the capped size so low.
    we just need the way to improve it spending somewere. houses seems the solutions to me.

    I think the way the storage boxes work, to allow item transfer between houses, is quite novel; just poorly contextualised.

    This could be made a bit more immersive by converting the storage boxes into NPC house messengers, each one different in appearance, who could have a dialogue option to store or pick up inventory. So the particular messenger you're using would be immediately recognizable in the other house and shooting stuff across from one house to another wouldn't feel like a bug. This being the Elder Scrolls, one or two magic users, among the NPCs, would make more sense as a summonable inventory dump than a summonable banker.

    The 30 and 60 item limits on these NPCs would also make sense and, if they're doing it in return for the hospitality of the house, that would work too. For houses with a courtyard, higher capacity Messenger NPCs with a cart or wagon, for example, would also make a lot of sense. Maybe 30 and 60 item capacities on the summonable messengers while having 60 and 90 item capacities on the static messengers.

    However, I also think there's a need for containers to be containers, not props, and for these to fill a separate role, from house messengers - so that a given container has a different inventory for each house into which it's placed (which means more inventory slots across multiple houses as it probably should). And I think containers, like this; as separate from messengers, could well afford larger capacities.

    I mean, looking at crown shop prices, some of the houses are more expensive to purchase than the game - so I think it's not unreasonable to expect houses to be capable of offering a lot more features than they currently do.

    What is sorely needed is for more attention to be given to context and setting. This is one of those areas where MMOs fall flat on their faces and often as not, it's over features which have zero impact on game balance while profoundly impacting on depth of gameplay and the quality of user experience.

    I had thought a lot about it, and was reminded of the same sort of containers from the following
    (Everquest II)

    so more bank capacity for how many houses you own? and considering a lot of the notable houses costing absurd amount of crowns that reeks of pay 2 win

    there are only ~5 notable size houses you can get in the game with gold, the other roughly 2 dozen notable houses cost between 7000 and 14000 crowns (for unfurnished)

    so $1000 for all of the notable houses gives you basically a full extra bank worth of storage space, yeah thats not gonna make people unhappy if they cant afford the houses

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    Actually it would be good to be able to purchase extra space in homes up to a set limit for crowns, couple hundred max extra furnishings allowed for notable, 100 for classic, 50 for staple or something, good revenue stream too. The current limits with eso plus aren't enough really. Also letting non-eso plus purchase up to the current limit for eso plus with crowns would be good too. Since people trade crowns for gold, there's an avenue for everyone to be able to do it, and zos gets the extra money to support the game.

    Of course if it made money it would be implemented in some way if possible.

    The housing slot limit is in place for performance reasons. Yes, you might have a smokin’ new rig that could handle it but anyone who didn’t and visited your house would crash and get stuck.
