My small gift for the community. If you are tired of standard PvE builds. (It's effective, really!)

To begin with, I will make a small note.

I am a high-end player who has completed almost all dungeons/trial trifectas in the game. And one of my favorite things to do is theorycrafting. I try to combine builds so that they are effective as the best builds, copy temper of my characters and their personality. But keep in mind, they require high game skill. Some will find them uncomfortable. Keep in mind, these are just builds. You and only you play on the character. And their effectiveness will depend on you.

These builds are made just as an interesting example that you can not run after the meta, and there are many extremely interesting builds in the game besides the standard ones that are identical to the top ones. There are even DPS builds here, in some you will meet familiar sets or builds, but in non-standard variations. And yes, you should not measure dps on the 21mln atronach in them. I combined them for overland, dungeons and trifecta dungeons, as well as group/solo arena's. "Will they be worse than "trial gear" ones in dungeons? - No, they will be better!".
If you need trial builds only, your RL will always tell you what you need, or you can google that on YouTube (however, only they are posted on YouTube).

1. Tank sorcerer.
I rly love sorc tanks. Why? This is the most powerful tank for dungeons! Maximum overclock for group damage and crazy survivability. There are practically no cons, it all depends on you. If you wish, you can change the atronach's ult to a horn, but in this case it is better to put a pearlescent ward set on the body.

2. DD Mage templar.
Used to playing with the puncturing sweep? AHA! Here's Range Gear. In the new vSE trial, it can beat all your teammates in damage. Or where there is a lot of dynamics. In dungeons, it is better to use with healer. Flawless damage and fairly simple rotation.

3. DD mage warden.
REAL ICE and flame! Few people play Warden, but he is excellent in dungeons. If you want to trial, change the coil for a kilt or mora shoulder. Different elements, 2 frost staffs and crazy damage! In dungeons, you can be the first and laugh at your teammates that it is impossible to play on the warden. Unlike other builds, a very high requirement for knowledge of the class and the button-tap speed. It requires a high skill, otherwise it will make little sense. Why Flame Blossom? The larger the boss in size, the more he has points of contact on the ground. This set can hit them all. This means that, for example, it can deal damage to a dragon 3 times! Also good against trashpacks. But in a small boss is not very effective.

4. DD Stamina nightblade.
A long time helped to polish this assembly to a shine. Best for stam nb. For trials, change body gear to relequin. Unfortunately, the spam ability will now be concealed weapon. If you feel low on mana, just switch your spam in target to Whirling Blades or Killer's Blade.

Tired of playing only good characters? Play as vampire. Yes it's true. If you only need to hit a solo target, change execute ability to a killer's blade. Unfortunately, with the latest patch, the vampire build has become not very convenient, in any case, you will have to press the concealed weapon once every 10 seconds. But I assure you, in terms of dps in comparison with the original build, you will not lose much. Want another weapon? - No problem! Change to what you like better. Don't forget to keep the second level of the vampire stage! Passive vampire ability increases your +300spd/wpd proc each cast from skill mist form!

If it seems interesting to someone, then I can combine other effective builds in pve according to your desire. Good luck for your epic gameplay and dps!

A pack of DDs that use either Pillars, Whorl, or Relequen, as expected. The NB was actually a surprise though, none of those sets, but ya can't usually make a competent DPS without those sets these days. Probably why the templar even works, those sets are so good that they probably carry the build.

but the Sorc Tank and NB are pretty good, nice job. Sorry if I sound mean here, I'm just a bit tired of the big three sets.

Haha I was expecting some really wack things and then just mostly see specs I play already (though set up very differently). Can confirm, sorc tank supremacy.

It's just that there is a very small list among the many tested gear that have an effect. And besides this, each proc-set works in its own way and with its own conditions. Therefore, nothing interesting could be found for the templar. Most of the bonuses are not the proc damage itself, but additional bonuses like minor slayer and perfect set bonuses. All of this adds up to a lot. And the proc itself does not carry the basis of the build, they just play a role here. I would pick up something more interesting, but there is nothing corny. The whole problem is in the split of pvp/pve) Also, here it’s not just even bonuses, but the type of armor, its triggering conditions and the type of damage. All this greatly reduces the types used.

The only thing I still want to test is to replace nirn for deadly instead. I think it will be a very good replacement for plar.

Here is a short table of my farm vSE with a random group on this templar. First boss dps went up to 82k max and 65k average dps. Here you can clearly see what plays the most role. As you can see, you yourself are the main actor there. ^^

I just select recommended stuff while leveling, with no clue what I'm doing, and it ends up sucking so bad by 20-30, I quit playing for another 2-3 years. I struggle to find the fun in this game. Obviously, many do find the fun, but for me, I just can't. I've tried. Don't bash on me too much though. I do buy the new expansions, but I don't play much, so that helps everyone out, right?

If anyone's going to bash on you, they'd more likely start with me. I don't use anything supposedly optimal. My warden mains are all in Hundings and Hexos' Ward, 1 bar Oakensoul, and a mix of DW and 2hand; I actually like 2hand better, but my early mains - the first ones to CP 160 - have always been DW, and it's hard to think about changing them over.

Not that it matters, since all I do is questing and exploring and crafting and endeavors, they kill stuff just fine....

for me personally, the entire "skill advisor" thing is total absolute garbage and i immediately turn it off

for starting out i would recommend trying out the skills, if you dont like them, doing a respec is really easy to try other morphs, or get the skill pts back to slot in other skills

for leveling, i would also recommend to try to keep your gear somewhat close to your lvl, a purple item can give the same stats as a white item if its like 4 levels below your current lvl, so the gear quality can help it last longer due to higher stats, you do need to keep your gear mostly current to your lvl

usually another thing to keep in mind is when around lvl 30-35 it will seem like things get tougher, because the low lvl scaling bonus starts diminishing, so you have less "carrying" you as you approach lvl 50 (without any gear and any attributes slotted in max hp for example, a fresh lvl 3 toon (i never play the tutorial lol) has like near 30k max hp without any food buffs, but a lvl 50 with no attributes in max hp has like 18k)

You are probably just tired at work. Games are supposed to relax you, right? Just try playing something else. For example in the new system shock remastered, dayz, disciplies or skyrim or racing like forza etc. Just find the game that will like you. Well, if you're serious about playing...

First, select the class you are interested in. And just read about the skills of what and how it works. Already on their basis, you will know what can be strengthened.

Well, for example. You want to play a mage.
    1) So you need a mana pool, right? You allocate attributes to mana.
    2) What else enhances mana? -hmm. Food! You eat food that will buff you up and/or give you regen if you don't have enough resources.
    3) Wow, now you understand what enchantments are. You can enhance your armor and weapons with special enchantments. What does a magician need for armor? -magic increase!
    4) If you're playing as a mage, you'll probably need a staff, right? But you can also put daggers. Nobody will forbid you. You can always ask the people in the guild for the correct weapon traits.
    5) What about weapons? -According to any enchantment that enhances your weapon power! But how will it work? Any AOE with a duration in the weapon tree will proc it permanently. Means, you can just put it on the panel where you don't use it much. And something attacking on the main panel. Mmm. Are you a fire mage? - Then fire!
    6) You seem to be doing everything right. Oh, and then there's alchemy. See, the right ingredients can boost your weapon power even more and regenerate resources! Wonderful. Make yourself a potion. (You can check this on YouTube for the best potions).
    7) Here. You have decided. Hmm... What are sets? These are sets that give any bonus when collecting a set of X parts. This will be your main armor. Since you are a mage, either medium or light armor will suit you, right? And you can pick up sets, for example, using the addon "item set browser" by words or effects. Cool!
    8) Have you decided on sets and weapons? And now you need to up in all the passive abilities in armor, weapons and the class itself. Don't forget the Fighters and Undaunted Guild! You don't even have to read them. But it's better to read.
    9) That's it, you're done. Now arrange the skills. On the back panel, you will already have the AoE you determined earlier. But the back panel is not that important, right? This means that you can put abilities on it that act over time or various buffs that you need to click sometimes.
    10) And on the main panel, something that will passively strengthen you and that you will constantly press. For example, spam skill or proc skills like a "spectral bow" at nb. You can even see a hint here in my screenshots from the pictures.
    11) Done.

Just use this cheat sheet and you will be fine. The rest of the gain will depend on your knowledge, desire and speed of the gameplay. Start simple, learn the basics. Then try something more difficult if you want to get a reward for certain content.

Ah, I forgot. About the quality of armor and weapons. Armor can always be left at epic quality. It's cheap and practically won't even make a noticeable difference from the legendary one. But the weapon should be made in gold. This will greatly increase your damage.
