this event feels not so full

Yesterday was ok.
I am not keen to get event reward boxes, but was hoping to have more players around in Blackwood doing worldbosses, so I can do the WB dailies to get some Ivory Brigade Clasp as reward (furnishing style material).

I found players pretty quick right after the event started, waiting at the bosses.
Today it already took longer, but I could still finish on 17 characters.
Now I am waiting at Queen of the reef in Summerset. Did gryphons 3 times, graveld 1 time, queen 2 times.
But now nobody shows up since an hour already. Even asked in 2 major guilds, no response.

For an event, that has focus on group worldboss events this year, it does not feel right.
Xbox NA, 6:30 pm edt.

IMO alot of people arnt doing it because the game has been pushed to people playing solo because of neglect to the consoles.... xbox for example... our chats been broken what, 2 years now? Conversation brings people together, makes friendships and console players are 2nd class citizens in this game, if we like it or not

What ZOS wants players to do, and what players actually do, are two very different things. I am not going anywhere near a world boss this event...well, other than passing by them and waving as I continue on to somewhere else.

Still, I can't see that the number of people doing world bosses would be less... unless people were too busy on easier tasks to get rewards and event tickets.

I didn't know Xbox had that problem.
The voice chat works fine on PlayStation.

on PC i saw a lot of people forming groups to farm, but they mostly stuck to "common" farm things such as dragons in elsweyr

one of my guilds was farming celestial rifts in craglorn
    plays PC/NA
    handle @Necrotech_Master
    active player since april 2014

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

finally did the queen, after logging out and back in 2 times to switch server instance. Second time I joined a running fight of another solo-player.

yes, such groups saved me yesterday, most bosses I did was when such groups arrived. Today I encountered far less groups, mainly solo players.

A lot of people I know were looking forward to this as a crafting event, but zos significantly reduced the drops from master writs. Most of them decided not to really participate beyond the bare minimum.

Spamming wb's just isn't that fun after a while. Keep in mind we'll all be doing so again for the Necrom event soon... and again for witches fest. They kinda took away the thing that made ZoZ unique and interesting.

And other wb issues... A lot of wb's are so trivial with an actual group that it isn't even remotely fun... 5 seconds of fighting followed by 5-10 minutes of waiting for a spawn. Drops are limited to the top 12 dps, so in a bigger group some people get nothing. There are also just *so many* wb's now - every year we get 6 more and the chances of people showing up at the one *you* want to do drop that much more.

Dragons / harrowstorms start to get old too, though at least the potential rewards are better, and ALL participants get a drop, and there seem to be groups doing those. I'd look into that if you're having trouble finding people to do stuff with.

Also the "with a guildie" restriction reduces the pool of interested players even further, I'd imagine.

Tldr... ZoS changed the event to align with their expectations, and unfortunately I think this is the result. Limited participation.

well finally I joined a guild group when someone asked for help with a boss, and we ended up doing 6 dragons, 5 elsweyr bosses, 5 summerset bosses in a group of 4.
Was nice and saved the evening for me :)

To be honest after playing for 9 years I tend to give events a miss now, except the anniv event and midyear mayhem. I have no interest in event tickets, cosmetics, Indriks etc

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic, as it's event related.

    Thank you for your understanding
