Why you should quit your templar now and go full NB.

NB is templar but better.

The problem is crit. Even at 33%, that thing just won't crit BoL for anything. I noticed that even at 45% the crit chance for BoL is about the same.

So I am quitting stamplar all together. I will move the build to NB.

There I will have 60% crit constant instantaneously up from 21-33%.(kepping up or dropping buffs or switching bars)

I will have assassins will, think of this as a superior version of Power of the Light. It's unclensable and you get to hold it around and blast it at any time and they won't be aware when it's coming. It's that OOMPH you need to end combat situations.

When I cloak, I can always guarantee a crit burst heal. Saving me time and resources. (Compared to 3 BoL that don't crit while still getting wailed on in plain sight)

Surprise attack, is a quick direct damage hit that you don't have to worry about evasion or something dropping it's damage 20% or channeling it or using a set to get back that 20% damage. I wasn't using jabs or javelin anyways on my templar.

I surely wasn't cleansing, most people will kill anyways making healing far superior to cleansing at any point in time in pvp. What stamplar has the ability to spam cleanse over and over again when they can reapply the DoTs? Just out heal it and fight or in NB case cloak out from battle and crit heal and wait.

NB has great resource management so using the templar mag or stam rune isn't needed for me as an NB freeing up a slot.

I think the gap closer for NB has a stam based one...no need for toppling charge...a mag based gap closer that shares the pool to my only reliable heal that only prolongs death.

Templar ray. Really? do you want an execute which breaks up it's damage over time to finish off a person or an NB hard hitting guaranteed crit damage hit that relies no extra buzz to finish them. Even if you don't use the guaranteed hit, at 60%, most hits are almost guaranteed crit.

Change can be annoying, but as the good old saying goes, "are you really going to leave that much advantage on the table?" I know these are PTS changes but it really got me to move on from redguard templar, something I played since beta...I've gone as far as I could power wise with it, it's time for me to ....LEVEL UP...

ZoS has made it clear with this change, NB is the way to B. Although Lios might say otherwise.

-If you have 60% crit chance on an NB you won't have any of the more useful damage stats, and your crits will be negated down to 20% due to lack of crit damage

-Cloak does not guarantee crit heal, all heals except rally and sated frenzy break cloak

-Assassins will has 2 audio queues and a half second minimum travel time. Players with good ping don't get hit by it. It also resets out of combat.

-Nightblades have great sustain due to leeching/siphoning strikes. That's a skill slot.

-The gap closer is bad, not nearly as good as a gap closer that also stuns

-Killers blade is a great execute, but you'll miss beam and Impale will miss

Welcome aboard. You should play a nightblade. Playing the class is the only way to know how the class really is.
Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA)
    Might be joking in comments.

Assassin's Will has one of the two loudest audio tells in the whole game. The other is incapacitating strike.

Both on the game's 'stealth' class, obviously.

Unfortunately this is just kind of how it is. NB has a better overall kit than plar.

Plar does have some great strengths if you lean into them and just overall enjoy playing plar.

There was a time or two when plar was top tier but nerfs to it and buffs to others including NB have made that a thing of the past for now.

Agree NBs been given every advantage. In PvP the healing really stands out as overpowered in context with everything else.

    Highest speed, okay
    Highest damage, okay

But healing too? Only coag/dk seems better.

Cloak does not make heals crit. It says it in the tool tip it's your next damaging ability. It used to make heals crit but they fixed it a long time ago

I haven't played my NB in a long time. I'm upgrading her in anticipation of being able to drop Camo hunter for Shadowy disguise and moving relentless focus to her front bar.
