Anyone remember the Auriel Bow that would've been added? All the upgrades for PvP itself? The focus on code improvement? New maps for BGs? How much longer is PvP going to last if you haven't added anything for years upon years upon years? Why has ZoS literally NEVER taken the time to talk to us like adults about this? What's the point in this attitude from them?
I remember when stealing was really going to be a way to initiate PvP.
Now; every time we have an event for the existing PvP, we never fail to get a complaint about how someone "had to" PvP to get vouchers and they don't like it. Think I'm going to start a complaint thread every time there's a PvE event to just try to be as obnoxiously entitled
Cyrodiil is an awesome game mode and has a lot of potential. I'm sure one day there will be a game that can deliver what ESO promised us 10 years ago. But i fear technology is not there yet and we might have to wait for another 10 years.
Well the new excuse now is that they won't add anything new to PvP until they deal with the poor server performance which let's be honest will never happen to the extent that would allow to start working on PvP.

For the first 6-8 years ZOS seemed to have no problem delivering a fully functional Cyrodiil PvP environment. And even after that performance would "magically" get better for the MYM events. So we know ZOS could deliver good performing Cyrodiil PvP if they made the commitment to do so. The problem seems to be they'd rather reduce server resources for their PvP environment rather than increase it. They'd rather lower the population caps, group size, and primary objectives in Cyrodiil than enhance the Cyrodiil PvP experience.
We know ZOS could make Cyrodiil work great if they wanted to because that is exactly what they used to deliver.
The pop in the "main" campaign on PC/NA has been dwindling.
Perhaps it is from players still working on their new characters. However, I noticed this trend before that.
Although, dc still manages to typically have more than both ad and ep, but numbers seem to have fallen across the board.
*Now, with MYM, obviously things should pick up during this time*
Here are just a few taken at various times of day/night.
I still occasionally witness pop lock, but it's been very short lived.
On a side note, I love that the score between ep and ad is so very close.
It makes for an interesting, competitive and somewhat exciting campaign.
On a further side note, the "combat feature" of being unable to mount, even after being out of combat for up to 20 plus minutes is exhausting.
I realize some players may not want to be able to use their mounts during "battle", but consider that it is possible to keep someone from mounting, porting, and using skills anyway.
If I am able to get on my mount and you are successful in knocking me back off, more power to you.
