I absolutely hate every time new content releases. It sparks my insatiable urge to know the whats and whys of Elder Scrolls, literally everything Bethesda/ZOS never want to actually tell us cause then where's the lure without the mystery? Back in Elsweyr, it was Jode's Core. In the Reach, it's the Dark Heart.
For Necrom?
I hate this. I hate it because it's SO INTERESTING.
Laramil claims Apocrypha as a realm is infinite, a physical space without end or boundary, but at the same time it has a "Core". A central space in which Apocrypha assumedly is cast from, the "Mythos". The Mythos contains a single central structure that grabs at the player. It's Monolithic, ornate, it's emanating a beam of energy upward into the space continuously, and the most fascinating aspect noticeable? It does not look Daedric. At the very least, not of Mora's realm. Nothing else in Apocrypha resembles the structural design of this tower, which begs the question, the chicken/egg question. Was this tower here before Apocrypha? Before Mora? A tid bit of Lore, I think on a loading screen for the Mythos states Mora created all of Apocrypha from within that central space. Is the tower his? Or did he merely find and use it? Does every Daedric Realm have a Core such as this? This also leads to the question, are the Daedric Realms artificial? If Apocrypha has a Core space, and at the center of this space is not natural matter but a Construct, then the Realm hasn't just, been. It has a beginning, and now I'm desperate to know the what to that beginning. Is it the Aedra?
