Repeated Crashing since the new Launcher

sharkclanb16_ESO
SInce around the time the launcher was last updated I have been having daily crashes with ESO. Its a mixture of crashing to desktop and crashing to the crash report screen (this is the most common). After asking across multiple guilds its seems that a lot of people are having the same issue and all report it starting at the same time.

I have not been using the new launcher for PTS and all crashes have been on the live EU server. I am submitting crash reports each time.

I cant see a pattern to anything I am doing in game, its crashing anywhere and everywhere, sometimes in combat sometimes stood still not in a group.

The crashes seem to come a few minutes into starting the game and then continue every few minutes.

Equally I can sometimes be playing for 6 or 7 hours with no issues.

Is there more information we can provide to help resolve this as game stability had been one of the good things about ESO until recently.

After the launcher launches the main ESO executable, its job is done, and you can safely close it. The problem is somewhere else.
If the game repeatedly crashes to the crash report dialog or, especially, silently closes w/o any error, it's a sign of a hardware issue, most likely - CPU/GPU overheating. Can be a GPU driver issue as well, but for the first case only. If something silently closes, it's a bad sign.
You can use, for example, OpenHM (https://openhardwaremonitor.org/) for monitoring temperature, it's free.

Its not a temp issue, I have them all monitored and it can crash 30 secs into the game with temps well below half of max levels.

The number of reports from others I am seeing is too high and too similar for it to be a hardware issue.

I'd check the hardware first anyway. Prime95 (https://www.mersenne.org/download/) in stress mode + Furmark (https://geeks3d.com/furmark/) in parallel. It'll also help to detect PSU issues. Although memory errors will inevitably cause BSOD at some point, I'd run at least one pass of memtest86+ (https://www.memtest.org/). It's up to you.
More importantly, what are the errors you can see in the crash reporter? Is there something in the Event Log when the ESO client closes silently? Check both software and hardware sections (it may be, for example, crashed and restarted GPU driver).

Our help article below has troubleshooting to assist with ESO crashing.

What do I do if ESO is crashing with the error "ESO has stopped working"?
