Cleansing Revival is a blue cp slottable that is a full cleanse when healed under 25% HP with a 24 second cooldown.
Right now it’s bugged to proc at any hp, meaning the CP simply is a free full cleanse every 24 seconds.
In general this makes all pvp play out much slower with a higher than intended TTK. Cleanse was never meant to be this free, and it screws up the damage big time.
I’ll give one example, Templars are meant to heavily utilize class abilities (esp with class spammable and burning light passives being gutted with solar barrage being buffed to compensate).
Plar has to apply backlash, buildup the damage, and follow up with beam ideally before the backlash goes off. This is literally the intended design of plar right now to get kills.
It takes 24 seconds on average just to have backlash actually built up to the point it threatens the enemy, usually at the expense of taking big risks to do so.
Having everyone randomly cleanse the entire burst and beam every 24 seconds makes plar basically unplayable unless you enjoy role playing a suboptimal playstyle in cyrodil, have low standards, and enjoy mediocrity.
That’s just one example. Everyone relies on reliability of applied dots & debuffs to some level to apply meaningful offensive threats.
Not only that, cleanse is a mechanic that is meant to be more available to some over others. Plar’s defensive identity is cleanse but when everyone has access to a free full cleanse, then that’s an indirect need to Templar itself.
Please fix, no point playing plar seriously in CP pvp right now until this cp is addressed.
I guess this doesn’t matter for 90% of pvpers since you can’t cleanse assassins will or molten whip 😅
