Honestly all the time I tested it I assumed it wasn't, but I was thinking about it today and each use is broken down into three separate runes, each doing its own damage, one after the other... so maybe it is.
i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
There definitely are examples of skills like this that are channels. Flurry and Puncturing Sweeps and their morphs are both similar skills that are channeled abilities, doing three or more attacks over .8 seconds. And then there are examples of skills that aren't channeled abilities that do similar effects with no channel time, like Force Shock and its morphs.
Runeblades is an example of the latter. It doesn't have a channel time, so it's like Force Shock and not like Flurry or Puncturing Sweeps.
Ok, cool. So if you're building around Deadly Strikes that's another reason to use Cephilarch as your builder. Which is weird, because when you just look at it, Runeblades *looks* like a channel a lot more than the tentacles do.

I could be wrong, but I believe Abyssal Impact and its morphs only have a cast time (instead of a channel), so those aren't buffed by Deadly Strike either. That would've been nice, though.
Neither runeblades nor tentacles are a channel skill, runeblades are instant cast, and tentacles have cast time.
Deadly strikes buffs DoT's and channeled abilities, so it does not affect either of those two primary dps builders.
Hm. Well, OK. I was pretty sure someone had figured out cephilarch's flail was treated as a channeled attack but I can't find it anywhere, so I guess I got something mixed up somewhere.
