I meant to write something about this for some time now. There should be a lot of other topics on this but I could not find them because of all the bot-complaints (on which I totally agree too).

But this is about the closed dungeons and 4-ppl-groups, about trolling, loot and how those dungeons reward people who greed/grief and ruin everyone else's fun.

I wanted to write about that at length but then a buddy showed me the youtube-vid where someone else explains it all. So..

I really hope for something like a lootroll (against chest-running greed) and some better and more group-friendly bosslootdistribution.

    A loot roll system would be the answer, this should have been implemented from day 1, I am very surprised this was not brought up in Beta, or did no-one run dungeons in Beta? I have the same problem when doing a group dungeon, which is very annoying indeed, all that work for virtually no loot, just the Achievement, so no chance to upgrade my gear, not unless I buy from other players

    my god you want to start a whole new whinefest on the unfairness of rng and ninja looters who roll greed? no to loot rolls, ruined many a game. how bout make all chests in dungeons lootable by all once opened or get rid of them all together and have the loot drop from the mobs, where everyone gets to loot them... unless of course youre a healer and then youre screwed regardless

    and btw, ive been to alot of dungeons where the lockpicker would ask if anyone wants this and this, each sharing the loot. they were awesome. Ive only been on one run where one person looted the chests just for themselves

    Dungeon Chest Changes
    Chests within instances have undergone two changes:

    Shared Chests – Each player in the group who is within 50 meters of the chest when it is unlocked will get an individual roll on the chest.

    Reduced Number of Chests – Since each chest yields rewards for all group members, we have reduced the number of chests in instances to two total. Each instance will always have two chests in then, but the location of these two chests will be random within the dungeon.

    These changes do not affect chests that appear in public spaces, only those within instances.
