This is what a luxury vendor should sell. Varla and Culanda stones are great!! Sink them into a wall or tree and they provide fantastic ambient light with great effects. Gonna need to get me some of the partitions too.

Does that Ayleid Partition exist somewhere in game? I can see why I questioned the Orsinium puzzle cubes, but I keep a close eye on Ayleid stuff since I bought the house when it came out and this does not look familiar.

Since it's the new furnishing this week, it probably IS somewhere in game, though I don't personally know where.

OK I see now at the vendor this does not have a base like I was thinking from the image, it’s just a shadow.

It’s great these new things are added, but we don’t have any walls to fit this into in order for it to be used. I am not sure whether to purchase any of these as I cannot see how to use them.

You're right about that. Hopefully there's a doorway next week to go with it.

Here's some archways for comparison

It doesn't even fit the High Isle Archway, which is one of the bigger archways we have.

It's bigger than the Leywaiin castle wall, so you can't use the wall to hide it into it's relatively small archway.

The Markarth Archway is actually too big (also wrong shape), to give you an idea of its size.

Significantly larger than the Alinor Archway way as well, which is a shame as that's the one that has the best shape for it.

However, if you're building on a floor where you can sink it without issue, then I think you can probably make it work pretty nicely.

Agreed on the Ayleid partition - very cool with lots of potential. Is it possible to raise the Alinor archway on a couple pillars to match the height/shape? Hmm...

And yep, lovely, stackable light sources - best in game for so many situations.

Yes. That is possible. The green furnishing plan "Alinor Column, Heavy Timeworn" is the same column used in the archway plan as well. So, if you were to play with it in the right spaces, you could probably get it pretty great looking.

This is what that column looks like with the archway. I didn't bother stacking it perfect.

I bought one of the Ayleid Partitions and took it to my house. I could use it to block off either of the two archways on the lower level, but they don’t quite fit (a little too large) and there is no reason why I would want to do that. They don’t really fit anywhere else.

If they do have something next week to fit this in properly, that would be good to know. They should group these things together so you know how many to buy before the item is gone for the week.

PSA:

Culanda and Varla stones are among the most reliable lighting in the game.

Their light is bright enough for most purposes. And if you place one of each together, it's white enough for most purposes as well.

I have not gone to any ruins to see if this is case but the partition reminds me of some of the partitions you see in Ayleid ruin instances.

It fits all the normal sized archways in the Ayleid home perfectly; the only one it doesn't fit is the extra large one in the front. It's the same size as the Ayleid Gate, it just doesn't open/close.
