Kill 40 players quest bugged.

This probably needs to go under the bug section of the forums but placing it here as it might just be me.

About half the darn time that I get the "Kill 40 enemy players" quest it stops counting my kills at some point, most of the time at 39. The only way to get past it is to abandon it OR get the other smaller daily "Kill 20 enemy players" quest which for some reason allows it to proceed.

Anyone else have this occur? It's happens probably about 30 to 50% of the time for me.

Being a viscous NB it's not that it takes me more than a few minutes to complete (joke) but it is annoying.

    yes, having read your post now, I am 110% sure I will now encounter this nasty bugs...

    sooooo many bugs...

    I complete the kill 40 quest on one character or another nearly everyday and I can’t recall having this happen lately. There used to be a bug months (or was it years?) ago where it wouldn’t advance, so maybe it’s returned.

    For some things the condition is that you must get the kill shot, but I'm pretty sure both of those quests count kills in which you've merely participated. Also, as a nightblade, you probably are getting most of the kill shots. Sorry, it's just the only angle that came to mind.
    PC EU: Magblade (PvP main), DK (PvE Tank), Sorc (PvP and PvE), Magden (PvE Healer), Magplar (PvP and PvE DD), Arcanist (PvE DD)
    PC NA: Magblade (PvP and PvE every role)

    This is not usually the case. I've gotten credit for plenty of kills towards the Kill 40 quest after I've damaged players in a group and they end up wiping a minute later, often when I've completely lost sight of them or even died and respawned.

    That's what I said as well, even if I wasn't as sure as you are. Thanks for confirming.
