PvP and Chimed gods

Please forgive and correct more if I'm wrong....

What if....Question

Premise:
Vivec, Sorta Sil and Amalexia would be part of the Ebonheart Pact? Right?

If not, what pact would get their support?

If they were go be involved in three PvP, how would you want that to play out? They'd help EP? It would be like Volendrung?
Appears once in while?
Can be summoned? Takes a pact side to complete some group task?

What would balance AD and DC? Dwemer support? Samething?

Thoughts?

Tankz!

Vivec, Sotha Sil and Amalexia do not seem the type to me that would join the Ebonheart pact - if anything it would be the Dunmer they would side with if such a war broke out, leaving the rest of the races to call upon their gods for aid in this perhaps.

considering the pact is lead by king Jorunn, and not tribunal, I would say, that probably dunmer "gods" are not exactly concerned with such "lowly" things as war in cyrodiil and relevant alliances.

Some of you might want to review the lore of the Ebonheart Pact, founded when Almalexia and Jorunn fought against the Akaviri and were joined by Argonian forces. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Ebonheart_Pact

As for what they hope to accomplish, this bit of propaganda gives as good a view as any:
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Time_of_the_Ebonheart_Pact

Almalexia does support the Pact but she does so from her palace in Mournhold by directing four of the five Great Houses to provide troops and money to the Pact. As of yet, neither she, Vivec, nor Sotha Sil have directly taken the field in Cyrodiil (in large part because ESO goes on to show that they are dealing with their own problems in their homelands.)

Sorry, it should have been CHIMER, not Chimed.
    And Almalexia instead of Amalexia

It's the Almalexia connection that spawned this thought.

    Dunmer seems right.

Maybe they each would choose a faction

@Zama666 - sooo after reviewing the Ebonheart Pact that @VaranisArano linked which says that the Three Living Gods, Vivec, Sotha Sil and Almalexia :) are part of the Ebonheart pact which you did mention in your Premise - I now fear for the other two alliances and their ability to fight against these ones - it does seem unbalanced when an alliance has three living gods fighting alongside them. - Maybe the other two alliances joining together would balance this - or an alliance formed in which Daedric princes would be involved.

    Hi @Eporem

I got excited when I heard that as well....but then they talk about the Tamriel Pact, does that mean they take over first?

Vivec in Cyrodiil would be helpful!

I am not sure...it seems to me they are rallying for more to join them under this alliance of the Tamriel Pact with promises made of occupying the Whilte Gold Tower.

The Three are supercharged dunmer who require tapping into a world-creation-level artifact for their divine-like powers. Make no mistake, they are gods only in power. Their bodies are like a car battery that need to be recharged yearly. Think of them like being the first humans to discover immortality and incredible military power, but instead of sharing the power they keep it to themselves. (edited- added "incredible power" because of telvanni magisters making deals with daedra for long life, but not extra power. Immortality in this sense is not comparable to the Tribunal's power, who have divine-like powers)

Additionally, Vivec had 8 kids with Molag Bal. Molag Bal is a huge player and while he may not be the reason why the war started, he is certainly trying to benefit off of it and pushed each of the faction leaders into a corner. Vivec is likely put at bay by the existence of these 8 progeny. Not to mention, he has a giant moon rock to deal with that he almost drops- he should probably stay put for a few decades while his city gets built and he holds Sheogorath's massive ball in the sky. Keep in mind if you go down this rabbit hole that Daedric Princes cannot create life, they can only mimic it or corrupt life of/from others- so Vivec was a key player there.

There is a story/rumor that Vivec got involved with the Second Akaviri invasion to drown the invading forces but this is more of a myth even in the elder scrolls universe. What doesn't make sense to me is why they would land in Skyrim and make their way to Stonefalls only to be drowned on the coast by Vivec, the Akaviri battleplan is so outlandish, unless we consider the angle that they were trying to get to the Heart of Lorkhan and were trying to bypass detection of the Tribunal (or some other wacky theory). It makes sense for Vivec to get involved at the point of them reaching the coast at Stonefalls to prevent them from invading Vvardenfell to protect the Heart of Lorkhan, but he must have divined that they were coming for it if that is the case because it's not stated anywhere.

Sotha Sil has an interest in protecting Nirn (not just Tamriel) while the other two seem more interested in protecting their status, ancestral homeland, and source of power. He is involved in a few story lines including the events of summerset and clockwork city- the latter of which we see him in a compromised state, so Cyrodiil is probably the last thing on his mind.

Almalexia, while very powerful at many points, is also a very vain person, her omnipotence is actually a weakness. She cares so much about what her followers think about her that she probably won't get involved at all. That being said, look no further than the Deeshan storyline involving her to see why she isn't involved (she couldn't even reenter her own temple which was overrun by daedra at one point, and required the help of the vestige. Truly a humbling moment for her, I'd say).

We also see at some points in the story that there are traps that can weaken the power of these three, despite boasting "Godly powers" they have no realm to draw power from like the daedric princes do... it's all from a single, shared source that they have to empower themselves with annually (or semi annually) which makes their power finite and containable.

So once again, Vivec has conflict of interest, Sotha Sil is distracted, and Almalexia is nerfed during the events of ESO.

So long as forces don't encroach upon territories close to Vvardenfell I doubt they'll intervene for reasons stated.
