So, the game is OK in terms of VO, but definitely has a lot of room for improvement. I personally find that bad VO is extremely jarring and interferes with immersion in an almost painful fashion.
So far I've noticed a few major culprits:
Queen Ayren sounds like she's asleep. She has a nice voice but no emotion. "My brother Naemon has been raised as a lich oh no monotone monotone snore". Circe Lannister would know how to react in this situation!
The Mane is similar. He's not very "animated" for a (supposedly) clever, manipulative, and audacious character. Anyone sharp enough to keep the Khajit in line should sound at least as coy as Raz.
Finally, the guy who does the Wilderking (and a few other voices) has the most artificially Cockney accent ever, and that's saying a lot for a game where a third of the Aldmeri have that characteristic. It makes my eardrums boil out of my head to hear him... he sounds more like the Geico gecko than a credible person.
Now, I know I've said some harsh things in this post, but please understand that it is because I am frustrated by the jarring effect of being torn from my erstwhile immersion by these egregious (and, frankly, comical) deviations from the quality that we see in some of the other main characters.
Please consider shelling out a few ducats to get these things fixed. Yes, it is probably many hours of VO work, but these guys are making first impressions on your audience. Don't let them turn customers off!
