According to the article: "simply by entering either of these two new dungeons, you receive the Lost emote!"

I have entered both and not received it afaik. Unless I have misunderstood, looking at the placeholder for the emote in collectibles it tells me I need the Scribes of Fate Scout achievement which requires completing both the new dungeons on normal.

Is this right or is the article wrong?

    Thank You

Same here - it looks like the article is wrong, though that's how we've received free DLC gifts in the past.

The Prologue quest for a Chapter or Zone DLC has always been available at a later date,. I'd guess that Necrom's Prologue will be available around mid-April.

My guess is that they removed the Achievement for simply entering these dungeons and forgot to tell the Marketing people.

Hi all, yes the prologue will be available at a later date. But it will be within the lifecycle of U37. We should have more information in the coming weeks.

For those who did not get the emote, please place a ticket in with customer service noting the issue. They should be able to assist. It seems like these are isolated cases of not getting the emote. But we'll keep an eye and see if more ppl note this.

Thanks for the update. I wrote 230314-002486 before checking that the article talks about entering the dungeon, but the achievement "Scribes of Fate Scout" is actually for completing both dungeons on Normal.

@zoskevin @ZOS_GinaBruno So am I to understand that this chapter will be like the vast majority of other chapters ,excluding perhaps the initial imperial city and greymoore chapter in terms of doing a long story, having nothing to gain from the story as far as powers, abilities, skins, mounts or pets. As well as facing off agaisnt world ending and destroying threats that pose very little threat to your character at all and die from light attacks?

That the majority of content that would normally be seen as rewards earned through actually playing the game will have to be bought via the eso gambling surprise mechanics? That our current characters will have absolutely no progression in their story, abilities or immersion in this chapter and we will need to purchase another new character to start over with to gain the immersive feel of this chapter and actually feel involved in the story like pretty much every other games reward system works?

The only content worth a challenge will be the 2 dungeons we pay for and we gain access to armors we may or may not want or need for our adventure in Tamriel, mundus and Oblivion?

So we blow through the fetch quest story line to blandly save the world again from something that doesn't feel like a threat at all but looks kinda cool and we take none of that cool aesthetic outside some armor skins with us to reinvions how we been playing this game for the past 9+ years.

Well atleast we can use gold to buy the new houses right, like a game normally would or do we havd to go to work to get money to get stuff in this game that you ultimately change later basically spitting in the face of our time and money. Please, I'd love to be wrong but it seems like every year you offer us all up to Vaermina for some reason. My faith in having lasting joy in this game has been back stabbed every patch since before planar scraps.

As a vet player from early launch, why should any vets invest into this experience?

Just to confirm there was misinformation in the website article and Elonso's premise above seems to be correct. Received a reply from Customer Support today as follows apologising for the confusion:

"I understand that you entered both of the new dungeons added in Update 37 but did not receive the "Lost in the Woods" emote. Please note that this emote is rewarded for completing both of the new dungeons on normal difficulty and not for simply entering them. I hope that clears up any confusion."

Response from the above ticket by the support staff reinforces that this dungeon DLC did not include the long standing achievement for just going in the door. Another sign of ZOS pulling back value, but whatever.
    Greetings!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. My name is Gabriel and I would be more than happy to assist you today.

I understand that you are contacting us concerning not receiving the Lost in the Woods Emote after entering Bal Sunnar. The information from the News article about the Scribes of Fate update has been updated regarding how to receive the Lost emote. The Lost in the Woods emote is earned from completing the Scribes of Fate Scout achievement.

The Scribes of Fate Scout achievement requires the completion of the Bal Sunnar Vanquisher and Scriverener's Hall Vanquisher achievements.

If you have any other questions or issues, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. Please have a wonderful day!

    Regards,
    Gabriel

Mist form is far too rigid of an animation. It should have some bats and perhaps happen faster and smoother and I cant say for balance yet but I feel it should go a little farther as well. Like 20m.

Hi all, after checking in with our team, the article did have the information incorrect about the emote. The article has been updated to remove the incorrect info about just logging into the dungeon.

As @Elsonso mentioned, "The Lost in the Woods" emote is earned from completing the Scribes of Fate Scout achievement. Thanks for everyone flagging this, as it helped to fix the information in the article.

Love that its now part of the base game that you can see player population in a house and see who is in your house through the housing settings, but I'm wondering if the team can make it so that arrivals/departures show up as a system message to the home owner in the chat window instead of only as pop up text in the corner of the screen?

Its very easy to miss the arrival/departure text as it currently is and most of the time I don't notice when people come and go.

Addons like Essential Housing Tools used to post a message to chat ("A guest has arrived 2/24", "A guest has departed 1/24") but since housing population is now a base game feature it was removed.

I've looked high and low through the game settings and chat settings and have not found a single thing that allows me to toggle chat alerts, so I assume there are none.
