Question about the new class

Hey guys,
With the new class, do we also get an additional character slot? Or do we need to delete one of the old characters to be able to make a new one?
Before you go "you can buy additional slots" , I am aware of that and have already maxed out the account at 18 characters, I am just wondering if the new class comes with more slots or not
