83k damage proc on one player, wiping entire keep. Buffs won't fit on the screen there is so much on this player its crazy. Is this balanced play as intended?

    I don't have much context, but it does appear that he and another player are duoing in this situation.
    So if they min-maxed with eachother, that would account for extra buffs on screen. Many of those are also negative effects.

    That's still a gross amount of damage for only 2 people. I also don't know if I would classify the culprits behind these kinds of bombs as being all that balanced.

    Its hard to tell from the screenshot, but some of those damage numbers might be against guards. Still a lot of damage though.

    Looks like a fairly standard plaguebreak proc on guards and players in a stack. Might also be some other set I haven't played in a bit.

    the 83k hit is on a guard at the flag. But when they kill the guard it sets off VD and kills the players.

    It is the same boring, old, tired, repetitive bomb meta that unkillable ball groups have now been running for what seems like eternity (and some solo bombers do it too).

    Enough of unkillable ball groups with 10 HOTS stacked who pull in solo pugs and 12 v 1 them

    Izanerys, we need Dracarys to come back to EP (EP has no ball groups) and log on when all these DC / AD ball groups log on, and force them to fight another ball group, rather than running around 3rd floor of arrius for an hour vacuuming up pugs :) .

    looks like a typical duo/smallscale bomber pair/group.

    That 82k damage instance is 100% against the NPC guard. Nuking those guards is a very typical way to proc these types of bomb builds shown here.

    At least half of the buffs/debuffs on the screen are debuffs/statuses. It looks very cluttered because 2 reasons:
    - They're probably also showing the long term/permanent buffs on that line instead of shifting them to the side.
    - They have enemy debuffs on that same line instead of somewhere else on the screen.

    The video title says "DK bombs", so more than likely corrosive is involved here to proc the 30-35k+ procs on players by allowing the bomb damage to ignore resistances.
    Also, as others have said, it looks like a typical plaguebreak/VD/occult overload bomb that proc'd in the middle of a large (15+?) group that were just standing on the flags with NPCs that don't block.

    From the screenshot, it also looks like it's the second half of their bomb combo/ulti dump (you can see their group member dead on the floor already). Additional information would help clarify this better.

    DK corrosive bombing. Corrosive, Rush of Agony on chains for major berserk, brawler with buffing weapon. Even better that corrosive still shows on the buff bar and dawn breaker is already back up. Wonder what that will hit for.

    There are now large abounts if players just using Rush of Agony so people never get CC immunity outside of POTs. Super great design

    Maybe some day when there's interesting changes and some pvp content pipeline. Although it's nice they nerfed harmony might make things a little more interesting in gvg's. HoT healing is still a bit too much, I'd rather see springs / negatable healing back as meta. Things just got stale previously. If lag is still improved maybe theres some fun to be had in midyear though.

    Killing a guard should not trigger any bomb in PVP or the lighting attack AoE damage.

    Lightning HA the guard and surrounding players will get full splash damage from a PVE empowered heavy attack. Juicy in IC where there are tons of npc. 83K on a guard would splash 83K to players.

    But I think that DK runs corrosive + masters 2H and brawler to bomb.
