Crushing weapon

It's new dlc day. All these beautiful changes hitting this developing games live servers. Most of them documented, but some of them probably not. I log in looking for the answer to one question:

Did they make it so crushing weapon isn't a janky move that also breaks stealth and forget to tell anyone in the patch notes?

Imagine my surprise when I slotted that very cool, but impractical skill and found out that it still is borderline unusable in pvp contexts unless you are ranged and are close enough for the light attack to hit before the skill wears off.

With time to kill at an all time high and night mother's gaze a nearly indispensable set, I think it's time to make this skill usable in the ways people want to use it. Please consider reverting the change to it removing stealth, make it work off of heavy attacks, maybe even add an extra second or two to the timer. It's not like it could outright replace crystal weapon on sorcs since it does less damage and doesn't apply a unique armor debuff.

    they made the change to crushing weapon, and sorcs crystal weapon, like several updates ago that they pull you out of stealth when you use it

    i also found the skill very clunky to use when i tried it out years ago so i never used it again lol

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    Would absolutely love another second or two and the ability to work with regular heavy attacks too.

    This would be an incredible change, as one of the major problems with the ability is you can’t time it with Off-Balance Stuns as you need to hit your opponent with a Heavy to stun them.

    That's an excellent point. Enabling all classes to stack more damage in the off-balance burst window can only be good for the game. As a side note, I'd like to see the off balance cooldown removed too. Make it applicable to anyone who doesn't currently have cc-immunity. Why? Because off-balance>burst is what ends 1v1s and small fights.

    Right, and at present, wearing one defensive set completely kills any and all attempts at burst.
