How to sync the daily writ rotation between characters?

Hello my question is essentially the title. A few weeks ago all of my characters had the same rotation, however something went happened and now a third is ahead and a third is behind in the cycle.

I have tried holding the writs to let characters catch up in the cycle, however when I do that and complete them the next day, the next writ I picked up skips the logical order and is where it would be in the cycle.

For example woodworking might be bows > staves > restos.

I hold restos on those characters until tomorrow when my stave characters are on restos. I turn them all in and that's good. But on the day after, the characters who went staves > restos will go to bows, logically. Annoyingly, the characters who I held restos on go from restos to staves, skipping bows completely.

Does anyone have any idea how to sync them up? I tried resetting skill lines andwaiting too but that hasn't worked either.

I know it's not the same, but they're resetting the time next patch

Maybe, if it's like a hard reset, it might start the requirements cycle from scratch too? As a side effect?

The only way to really make all characters have the same exact daily quests is to have them all created on the same day. Most crafting writs are on a 3-day cycle that is independent of when you pick them up and complete it. If you pick up the Bow on Day 1, whether you decide to complete it on Day 1, 2, or 3; day 4 will be Bow again regardless. Alchemy is on an 8 day cycle while Delves, Dolmens, and Public Dungeons are on a 15 day cycle.

My experience on PC has been consistent with what phaneub17 describes. Over probably close to 5 years, I have not had the daily writ rotation shift for my characters, so I both don't have any advice on how to adjust it, but I also can't explain the changes the top post mentioned.
