So, firstly I've no idea where to put this, so i'm shoving it in here for the time being, if it's not meant to exist in here then feel free to move it.

I am in dire need of a new laptop (this one is truly going to explode), one which can run TESO and most other games, I know there are other topics on this - however the budgets appears to be in USD and from US vendors, I need something budgeted in GBP / from a UK vendor.

I travel in and out of the UK quite a lot, and by quite a lot I mean every 4 - 5 weeks therefore please do not start the whole "Build a PC!" I've got a desktop, however this is for when i'm away out of the country.

Now my budget varies, i'm a cheap bugger so the cheaper the better, however i'd like to run the game on either medium / high settings (currently i'm having to run it on this laptop on min, and I want to pull my eyes out). That being said, I believe my budget of £700 (ish) is quite reasonable.

So if anyone who has any knowledge when it comes to gaming laptops could advise me, that'd be brilliant (i'll also throw in this cookie here if need be).

TLDR?

- I suck at understanding / looking for laptops
- I need a gaming laptop
- I travel a lot so don't suggest building a PC (I already have one)
- My budget is £700 (ish)
- I would like to play TESO on medium / high (min is horrible)
- You will have my eternal gratitude (and perhaps this cookie ... If I don't eat it)

Many thanks all!

I know this is going to sound REALLY crap, but don't buy a laptop for gaming.

If I had a choice, I wouldn't get / use a laptop for gaming. However circumstance requires one.

Okay, based on personal experience, avoid HP.
My partner uses a HP and it's so poorly designed that it crashes and overheats constantly.

One laptop, which I use is a Sony Vaio which cost me £1,200, a bit over budget but that's because of all the cool gadgets I got with it.

    AVOID:
    Integrated graphics
    Poor resolution
and poor GPU -> CPU ratio.
