Character Limit Indicator (Text related) [Solved!]

i have looked in pChat, and in the normal game settings, and have not found how to enable this, or if it is a separate addon altogether.

Could someone please direct me where to get, or how to get a character limit indicator, to show how much space i have left when typing before i run out.

the option for showing character count is really buried in the settings lol

in the addon settings for pchat its under "chat settings" -> "chat window settings" -> "chat window header" and the actual option is "show character count"

so when you start typing you will see the characters at the top of the chat window as "X/350" (X being your current number of characters)

this really helps know the chat limit when your linking a lot of items in chat, because of the 350 character count, you can only link about 5 items (the 6th item will a broken link because part of the link "code" is broken by the character limit)

@Necrotech_Master , i can't thank you enough for helping me find this!! i swear i looked through the settings, and found nothing the first time, but you're right, it was really buried in there! i'm gonna post this on my guild site and credit you for your help.

    Thanks again! <3<3:*

Well, the settings need submenus else they get really really long and you loose oversight at all and never find anything in them anymore :D
But they are structured by the headlines/submenus, so it should be obvious where to look for "chat content/channels" related, and where for the "chat window" or UI, and where at that UI (header) related.
