Question about Hybrid Stats

So now that everything scales with the highest offensive stat can it go off higher of each stat
Let’s say I have
27k magic 18k Stam
5100 Spell Damage 5700 WD
And 43% spell crit and 30% weapon crit
Will the damage be done be off of spell crit and Weapon damage ?

kyatos_binarini✭✭✭Judging by uesp - no. It will count your spell total damage (from magica and spell damage) and weapon total damage (from stamina and weapon damage) and choose the biggest one. If spell total damage is the biggest then all skills will scale with spell damage and magica and will use spell critical rating. And vice verse if weapon total damage is bigger.0 -

So if I’m all Stam and weapon damage on a sorc with the minor crit buff to magic only it’s not scaling with the right crit?0 -

(10.5 x Weapon Damage + Max Magicka)
and will crit based on Spell Crit chance.
And yes, the Sorc buff Minor Prophecy only gives Spell Crit, not Weapon Crit. To make good use of it you'll need a source of Major Prophecy (potions, inner light, camo hunter). Major Savagery (weapon crit) will not stack with Minor Prophecy (spell crit).0 -

As soon as the Weapon crit is 1% higher it will go based on that even if I’m spell damage and max magic?
Or will it be still spell crit.
Sorry just confused when it comes to “highest offensive stat” and varied crit chances0 -

✭✭✭✭✭"highest stat" only concerns the similar stat
so the highest of weapon or spell crit
highest of weapon or spell dmg
highest of max mag or max stam
etc
so it checks each thing differently
basically spell crit no longer only affects mag skills and weapon crit no longer affects only stam skills, both types of skills would say use spell crit if that was the highestplays PC/NA
