I must have misunderstood what this meant:
Researchable from exemplary items obtained by completing conquest board dailies in Cyrodiil.
You don't get triune jewellery from doing PvP, just the trait material is (more or less) PvP-sourced. I can't remember if you can get more than one triune jewellery piece per character as quest reward, but there should be plenty of offers at guild stores. Just buy one or ask someone to craft you a necklace. It'll set you back some gold because the trait material is relatively expensive, but it's not hard to get.
I hadn't encountered it before either. Took me by surprise and I almost disconstructed it by mistake. In fact, if it wasn't for a goof earlier in the day, where I had accidentally marked the show bank items box and inadvertently disconstructed several clothing items I had saved to research traits for (something I am still kicking myself over!) I may not have noticed at all.
I was kind of hoping someone would reply to say oh yeah, this quest gives you that trait or there is a resource site that lists stuff like this, but I guess not.
I haven't researched most of those traits yet. Done infused and protective I think, the ones from psjic portals and the Summerset and Psjic quest lines. Bloodthirsty I am making a half-hearted attempt to get a second ring of the pale order to research, but the thought of hunting treasure chests in Bangkorai is putting me off. It was bad enough the first time!
Swift is particularly frustrating for me as it is from jewellery writs. Which would be great if all the writs it keeps giving me didn't require me to have researched 8 or 9 jewellery traits to complete them. I need writs I can actually do to get enough vouchers to buy another storage crate just to store all the writs I can't do, more than half of which are for jewellery.
Thanks for the heads up on the quest for the swift ring. I will definitely have to go track that one down.

I was able to research the trait on both rings and necklaces, and I don't think I bought a ring or necklace to research-- although I might have and forgot, since it's been so long since I learned the trait.

Was it an exemplary ring? If so, these cannot get deconstructed iirc, so don't worry about that. Like someone said, you can buy them from traders as well (and you can peruse the Tamriel Trading website to look for low prices, since you are on PC, it's very helpful instead of going around kiosks looking), or you can buy the dawn-prism stone that is sued for the triune trait, again from traders, and a crafter friend can make you a necklace tor research.
