I am ranked in the Top 20 on one... does anything come with rankings, such as once the campaign ends, or is it all for nothing?
I would like to swap too - Dawnbreaker is garbage at the moment, we own the whole map...

I really wish people would stop saying this... I could rob a bank tomorrow, does that mean I should?
Its poor game design - its called population balance, no way it should be allowed to be stacked 100 AD to 20 of anything else... pop cap the dang things or something. I never did PvP in beta, never joined a guild, had no idea I would be locked into a *** Campaign for 90 days... this is poor game design, nothing else - not all of our faults here.
All joking aside - no really, its not funny, people need to stop feeding the troll and help fix the game.1 -

It's amazing how all these feckless, innocent-as-the-sunrise players all managed to find their ways onto campaigns where their faction was dominating. The odds on that must be astronomical. I mean, the alternative is that all the players intentionally joined a campaign they knew would dominate from the pre-launch board threads, but PvPers are always telling me how they just looooooooooooooooooooove fair and even competition, so that can't be right.1 -

✭the solution is this. lock the campaign after 5 ppl of said alliance join, until at least 3 of the other alliances join same campaign.

SunfireKnight86✭✭✭✭I agree with bg22. I'm stuck in a home where the AD own everything, and there isn't another EP member to be found. I had no idea what I was doing. The game didn't tell me to scout it out with a guest sweep before I chose a home. If I had known this amount of massive imbalance was possible I would have done so.
I want to say there should be a way to fix this, but the only way to do it is to ensure that balance is maintained as people join. How? Shorten campaigns to a week and assign people automatically maybe? Guilds always get the same campaign?
Or do as bg22 suggests and cap the number of players that can join of each alliance relative to the number of other players. If more than 1/3 of a population is one faction then only 50-100 more people can join before its locked for 24 hours for that faction. I can see the problem, then people wouldn't be able to join campaigns if everything gets filled up. But what's the alternative? Every single campaign gets dominated by one faction. That's not PvP anymore.
Artificial? Maybe! But there's a reason every single other MMO does it like that. You can't join a PvP match in other MMOs and be the only one fighting a whole other team.
I'm not just doing 100 scouting missions; that's just dumb. I'd rather just finish the PvE content in a month and not pay the sub.Edited by SunfireKnight86 on 3 April 2014 06:382 -
Anbokr✭✭Yeah, one of my friends told me campaigns were account bound and I had two chars I was leveling for the story (DC and AD). All my friends were AD and so I assumed if I locked into my desired home campaign on my DC character, it locked me with all characters.
Welp, I was wrong and nothing in the game warned me about it so now I'm basically locked out of playing with my friends and my DC character is on a dead campaign where DC have 0 presence no less. This is very demoralizing and makes me want to stop playing the game in all honesty, I signed up to PvP with my buddies and enjoy some balanced PvP, instead there seem to be a lot of one sided dead campaigns.
There's no free first switch right?1 -

✭I was more concerned with the leaderboards, but Anbokr, it take about a half a day to earn enough AP to switch campaigns. Just so you know.
