Zero points on ranked this season from deserters

I just noticed that in this season when an opponent resigns the winner doesn't receive any points. You get 0 points on ranked when the opponent resigns. I'd like to know how much points we lose when resigning, if it's zero too. Anyone here already tested it?

If so it's weird. Because he was way ahead of me in rank. Why would I get zero points if not because he resigned? But... I really don't understand anything about this ranking system. All I know is that I always lose 150 points when I'm the one who loses the match.

Maybe you are right. I've been receiving constantly 0 and 1 point for every match I win today. Looks like they nerfed it even more for this season. It's ridiculous!

✭✭✭✭✭The whole zero points issue is why I stopped bothering with comp once I hit Rubedite. I still like getting to Rubedite so I can continue to say I'm a current Rubedite player, and I know I'm somewhat decent at the game because it never takes long. But, once I hit Rubedite for two seasons straight it started giving me 0 points for wins or losses or other such nonsense. I'm not sure if I've been lucky lately, but I never received 0 points from a victory again since the last patch. I don't know if they fixed it but I've been receiving at least 10 points on every win. I though you should know that.1 -
Stinkyremy✭✭✭✭✭No way, I conceded a match yesterday, I just conceded because I knew I would not win, I wasn't salty I just didn't want to waste time. I assumed the opponent gets a full win.
I got a 10 min ban/cooldown for quitting too which seems stupid. A loss is a loss, you should always be able to bow out.1 -

✭Looks like I talked too soon... Today I've been playing a lot, because I got cheated by the game and I'm now trying to recover my score, and found out that we still in fact continue to receive 0 points on win very often.
Seems like it happens more when we are below top 10% and have a win with patrons. Winning with patrons gives 0 points most of the time. So, from now on I'm going to avoid it and see if I can receive more than 0 points from a victory.
The ranked system is absolutely bugged and should have already been fixed.1 -

Not gonna be a bug it is ELO scoring. So if you are winning complete noobs or low ranks you are gonna get low or no points.0 -

If both players are Rubedite there shouldn't be any complete noobs.
The scoring system is a complete mess and the reason I quit playing competitive. It would be helpful to get an official explanation on how it works.PCNA3 -

I agree. Which is why I don't bother. You can't get mad at it if you don't participate. Until they announce they are changing the way it's scored, there's no point in trying. The leaderboard rewards aren't even that good. Just hit Rubedite for the trophy and bounce imo. I'm actually not sure if I even bothered getting that far this season lol. I just have done npc matches mostly because of the events and new zone. Yesterday I lost one match. As usual got -150 points removed from my score.
It took me 12 consecutive wins to recover the same score.
They clearly launched this ranking system without ever testing it. It's too weird!1
