Title sums it up, many times blocks dont register. Our poor tank was getting flamed so hard and turns out it wasnt even his/her fault. This is something that probably needs to be adressed and not just thrown in a patch in a month or two IMO.
Bash will drop block, especially when frequently cast.
Dodge-rolling will now also drop block unless you reapply the trigger key while in the dodge-roll.
Lastly, I think some staggering effects are dropping it as they normally do (the Alkosh Fury mobs in Sunspire for example), but holding the key doesn't cause block to automatically turn back on like it used to.
This should be fixed ASAP, it makes content (especially veteran and hard-mode content) much more difficult.
Ive noticed this as well majorly. There are some enemy actions that even seem to drop it and hit u as tho you werent blocking at all even if u just rehit block and u get thrown across the room everytime. I also several times were blocking and bashing and my bashes were light attacking with sword!!
Yep. The block bugs have ruined a few trials and dungeon runs, not fun.
No hotfix notice or acknowledgement from ZOS about it either.

I've completed all the dungeon trifectas, Misery's Master, Mind Mender, Swashbuckler Supreme, Godslayer, Gryphon Heart, Immortal Redeemer, Tick Tock Tormentor, Dawnbringer, and I'm looking for nice folks to complete more trial achieves with.
We ran vHoF at sunday and it was terrible mess.
First whole trial is broken especialy at 4. boss where half the area causing ability and attack not work.
I was one tank and I can say that IKs through block when you have full mana and stamina and you see that you blocking is awesome. But block problems are here long time why they didn't fixed it yet? I saw many reports about not working blocks!
vHRC-HM - During Starfall and the Shehai Storm, our blocking was ineffective and resulted in a LOT of death... And we could not use /encounterlog as that was causing us to crash. {Wednesday evening 9-11PM EST)
But yes the block is major problem.. Vet dlc i used to race thru are now extremely difficult particularly when theres multiple hard htting mobs on you, re-hitting block to make sure it up leaves you too vulnerable when mulltiple hits coming in.
Thers been many acknowledgements about it. They are aware and working on it.
There hadn't been much acknowledgement at the time of my comment.
I haven't heard about any progress on the block issue in the meantime either, but maybe you've heard more.

This is causing a lot of problems, especially for tanks, in high difficulty content. There's some content that is just not viable to run until this is fixed. Very disappointing that we just can't play certain parts of the game right now. Some communication would be nice.
