Spooky/Horror Themed Quests for the Witches Festival

Now that the Witches Festival is coming soon, this one thought it might be fun to get everyone to name their favourite spooky quests. There may be possible spoilers.

Sammy’s few favourites:

Vvardenfell: Forgotten Waste (public dungeons) quest is a nice foreshadowing of Elder Scrolls 3. Fear factor is high as Sammy once had a nightmare about the ash statues (in the dream, they popped up everywhere in this one’s house).

Shadowfen’s Three Tender Souls and the murder mystery. A bit of whodunnit which kept this one guessing.

Rivenspire: basically any quest in that zone is spooky.

Clockwork City, the Shadow Cleft delve (missing people quest and quite scary and appropriate for Halloween with the quest storyline and the pumpkins and scarecrows)

More suggestions welcomed!

It would be nice if devs would add a new spooky quest every year with the event. There isn't much to look forward to really if it's your 3rd or even 5th year of the event. Yes, they add new rewards but it's just the same grind all over again.

I can only speculate on this, but surely making one quest (even without voiced acting, using only written story-telling through books or notes) shouldn't be too costly.

    Just a thought

@wnights yes that would be very nice - some new witches festival related quests, or even (though this will never happen) new quests for players who are vampires or werewolves.

Shipwright's Regret has some spooky elements in it, the optional bosses are really creepy in my opinion.
    PC-EU @maitsukas

Posting the Infinite Archive and Imperial City Weekly Vendor updates.

Also trying out new Main Quests, Companions, ToT decks, Events and Styles on PTS.

The Taste of Fear quest in Cey-Tarn keep on Summerset, just north of Alinor.

My favorite is 'The Face of Change' in Blackwood. Small town in a middle of nowhere, mysterious changes in people behavior... it's pretty spooky.
To be the Chosen One really sounds like lots of fun,
But in the end you'll just be someone's lunch

One year they actually changed some trials and some dungeons to add an extra Halloween flair. It was cool

The Vile Manse is somewhat spooky - a Hermaeus Mora themed quest that takes place in the secret bowels of an abandoned estate. Big time Cthulu/Elder God vibes

Which year was this? Sad that Sammy missed it. It would’ve spruced up the fungal grotto a bit :D

Yes! This one remembers that quest - very atmospheric and anything with Hermaeus Mora is creepy. There’s something about knowledge and being ensnared by it which is unsettling.

Great recommendations everyone, there’s a few that Sammy has forgotten, and will visit during the event!

This one just finished the Vvardenfell main quest (third time) and the music, especially when inside a tomb, is just spine tingling with suspense and drama.

Another horror related quest is the public dungeon in Deshaan that involved cannibalism. This one will never look at in game meat 🍖 and just assume it is pork :o

I can't recall but it was pretty interesting like skulls were flying around in mol. I remember an headless boss too.

It didn't last because unfortunately it was somewhat buggy, but definitely miss it in dungeons.....not trials.

Coldharbour quests were spooky in general, it would have been hard for them not to be, given the general ambience of the zone.
