Pet damage is too low to justifiy two slots for a single pet.
You cannot kill any good player with such low damage.
Moreover, the Matriarch cannot heal the Unstable Familiar anymore
The Matriarch healing of the Unstable Familiar was stealth removed - so it dies at once in PvP
Moreover, playing LightArmor is suicide these days.
As shields use the resistance of Armor, they are useful only playing in HeavyArmor.
In LightArmor, people die at once from any siege weapon hit.
ZOS, PLEASE:
1. Let the Mariarch heal the Unstable Familiar again, as it always did.
2. Give LA Shields the same resistance as HA shields. Or make them bigger than HA shields.
Playing PVP in LightArmor means ultra high risk.
Therefore, LightArmor shields need to be better, not worse than playing safe in HeavyArmor.
Where or how did you get that information?BalticBlues wrote: »As shields use the resistance of Armor, they are useful only playing in HeavyArmor.

I was guessing that shields take the actual char resistance, which is only a bit impacted by the armor itself.
But I was just guessing, because I don't know how it really works.
weekly reminder that magsorcs are completing vet vateshran and vMA in greater numbers than other classes, and are pretty deadly in pvp with both bruiser and glass cannon setups.
perfectly content with my magsorc, I guess others aren't- that doesn't mean we should overbuff the class then see nerfs later.
their philosophy is "play how you want"- not "get fantasy results by playing how you want." There will always be a meta or way to do more damage, so long as an ability isn't broken, you can always find ways to improve your gameplay or damage.
p.s. i see people saying pets sorcs are not viable in pvp. pet sorcs are quite annoying in pvp against certain opponents. they often soak up damage intended for the caster and a properly kitted pvp petsorc will know how to use this in conjunction with daedric prey and positioning to their advantage.

This has to be bait.

Re: Zoo Sorcs in PVP. I play alot of BGs on xbox/console NA, and have only ever seen 1 Zoo Sorc who was competitive.
Also, I just don’t think it’s a PVP playing style that many people are interested in. “Hit my flapping meat shields while I cast weak spells at you.”
I could be wrong though.
Increase projectile speed for frags, and decrease the dodge window for them. Either add the old formula for damage shields based on Max Magicka or give them something that helps mitigation. My damage shield went from 15.5k to 13.5k with the same Magicka, not sure when it changed because I took a long break (this isn't health related I have enough health). Other than that I think we're aight. Hint take advantage of hybridization of the game and use crushing weapon as a spammable. Major breach access to the class finally.

No, he is from another reality. Avg MagSorc will be eaten alive by Avg StamWarden and StamDK.
ZOS should stop trying to force MagSorc to play with pet. How many StamWarden do you see running around with bear pet in Cyrodiil?

Stamina across the board is the issue.
[Hybridizations] made the best version of each class the stamina version.
game lost a lot of flavour with class hybridization
