Is my dps enough? (Vcr 3)

(Xbox NA) I have a stamina Templar that hits 90k, was wondering if that’s enough for a VCR 3 run after update 35. I’ve been looking for a team to get a completion there since that’s the last skin I need to collect and I really don’t want to pay for carry. I’m having trouble finding a core team..

That should be fine, honestly. Cloudrest is more of a mechanically focused trial, over a dps race. Higher burn just makes it easier to bypass having to do more portals than needed.

Yes, the main thing I think for VCR3 is that being ranged will be a benefit for getting the orbs and creepers quickly without running over to them. I go half and half ranged on my stamplar in there - bow back bar with endless hail, use dagger front bar but silver shards as my spammable so i have a ranged attack for the creepers and orbs

Yep. I've run a 2H/2H stamsorc in there with success as well. The gap closer is very effective when going back and forth between the creepers and the boss

While I agree and think personally that's enough, which also would be enough for a group I was running in on pc but forum approval shouldn't be the ultimate metrics for you. Each group and it's RL would have different requirements and those are the measuring stick when applying, not forum approval if you're catching my train of thought:)

There's always a point to improve further and hone your playstyle!

Damage is not your issue. Stamplar would not be my first choice for prog'ing VCR 3, unless your group is fine with having you stay downstairs and not do portals. VCR 3 favors a ranged spec when learning. You definitely will want a heal, and you may want a gap closer.

That said, the trial does favor good cleave damage. I have certainly run groups with stamplars, but they pretty much always just stay downstairs and just parse. Most groups dont give that job to the new guy, but every group is different.
