PCEU: 100K gold reward: Strange orbs

Does anybody know what those orbs mean? I found them floating around my char yesterday for about one hour. No unusual buff in the character screen. I was able to zone, do rnd and dungeons, but after about 30 mins to 1 hour they disappeared.
Someone in the guild suggested it was Vanus orbs from Coldharbour, but I haven't been questing in Coldharbour for about 3 years.
I'll pay 100K gold to the first one with the correct (and verifiable answer). PCEU only - sorry.

This is the corect answer. You get one orb per quest stage and you can carry those around all of tamriel until you log out or die. All you gotta do is start the quest, progress through it and don't turn the quest in.
