With the PTS changes to warden passive i just feel like it would make more sense to buff destro staffs. Hybridization never really finished happening so we have this half baked meta where if you want to do the most damage you need to wield swords (even as a mage) and staves just don’t do damage. They are weak in PVE and PVP, why can’t staves get a buff? Why can’t we get some more elemental niches? Maybe even an execute?
It’s not even like it’s made up for elsewhere. Stam is tankier. Stam has better heals. The only benefit is being ranged but even then it’s only light attacks and MAYBE a spammable that really affect this.

SPR_of_HA_community✭✭✭✭Lightning staffs feels very underperforming after U35. It was overnerfed.
Including fact that it was never overperforming or good even before that.

the part where it lost 1 tick of dmg was not a bug, it was an additional stealth nerf in U35 (im not sure if resto got the same treatment)
lightning staff is generally still used for most heavy attack builds even with the nerfs because empower buffs every tick of the channelplays PC/NA
