Hello,
I started to play ESO again after 8 years back from playing since the 3 day early access when the game opened. So basically I started again and the game was completely different. I had my main character with CP 120 (Veteran Level 12 back in the days) and started to work on a build. About two weeks in (April/May) a new update came and I had to change my build progress from scratch, because the build was not useful anymore. After three to four months I had a good build going with my StamBlade and then U35 rolled, making my build useless again. Is this going to happen every three months now? People say yes! But do they want it? I don't think so, atleast I don't.
After the Update the damage change was quite noticable.. even in veteran dungeons the boss fights were much longer and I felt like I barely hit the dps requirements that normally goes for veteran hard modes. Also I had no trouble learning combat mechanics in April. It was fun to learn weaving and using both bars, with a challenge on keeping every DoT running. Now it feels like I mostly spam my spammable skill and it gets a lot less challenging and dry. If I had no need for Relentless Focus, I probably would not try to weave at all, because it feels not as powerful anymore, because then, I could atleast watch a youtube video at the side during a boss fight.
These changes with their high frequency and the way they are implemented make me shake my head, honestly. I am considering leaving now and I just started using ESO+ subscription this month.
