ToT Beginners - 3 small tips from a fellow noob (and prob much stoopider person than you!)

Hello all :)

I don't know if these are useful, but I didn't find them obvious so thought I'd share.

1. In order to complete a deck from fragments, you have to click on them in the 'Fragments' bit of your Collections menu. I didn't understand why I couldn't use my Ansei deck because of this.

2. You can view the various decks and individual cards in the 'Tales of Tribute Patrons' tab in your Collections menu (horizontal tabs, on the very end). So you can see what all the cards do without having to play a match. Again, I didn't realise this tab existed until today. Doh.

3. When you are in a match, you can click on ALL the various piles of cards on the table to see what's in them. Again, I didn't know this for ages, I was too stoopid just to click on everything to see what they all did ( and many thanks to @PinkApple for telling me this!)

Very small tips but might be helpful.

Have a lovely weekend! o/

P.S. I'm really really bad at ToT. I like it, but I'm terrible. *sigh* My brain.

The one tip i can give you in game, is this: when you play a game with st pelin. If you want fo use the the treasury, instead pf converting a coin, convert the 1 power pelin card. And you will watch your games change in your favour!

Great tip, you would be surprised how many players do not realize this! And a lot of the experience players take it for granted, so it does not get shared around much.

I had the same issue with the Ansei deck, and played for two levels thinking it wouldn't become available until I got to a certain rank. The frustrating thing was I couldn't articulate the issue well enough to explain what I was missing. Spouse kept saying, "It's in your collections menu," but I couldn't find it. I did internet searches of my issue and searched the forums and nothing popped up.

I finally started clicking through everything on that menu, like a rat in a Skinner puzzle box and finally discovered the "fragments."

Funny thing is, I didn't have to do this when I got the Purring Liar deck or the other two higher level decks. Those were usable right off the bat.

I should have acknowledged your help on that, Pink Apple, so sorry! And thank you! :)
