I don't need to change my class, but I do think new players on their first character should be able to switch classes.
My brother started playing last year and selected sorcerer. It doesn't work for him - he'd be much happier on a templar or dragon knight, but because he's invested in horse training, learning recipes, etc. and it's taken him a year to hit level 40, he's not interested in starting over. If he could switch to another class but keep his level and just reset the class skills, it would help.
Another thing that people are forgetting are outfit slots and armory slots, which are unlocked only for the character that bought them. Go make another character and then buy extra slots again?
Yes, yes, yes
It could even be a short quest…go here, talk to this “trainer”, perform a few tasks and earn the ability to change class.
It makes more sense to be able to retrain your class than changing your race.

They will never make a class change as then they will not be able to sell all the character upgrades for crowns like mount speed/stam upgrades and buying all the unlocked skill lines and skyshards for new toons. $$$ is all that matters.
Once upon a time, alliance change tokens were deemed unfeasible and unnecessary. Eventually they were created anyway and we had the option to buy them.
I'm sure ZOS could implement something like a class change token if they decide it's feasible and worthwhile. And I would rather take that option than reroll a character and lose their real time-based investments, such as mount skill training (180 days!) and crafting traits.
Class change tokens should definitely be in the game. If so many changes/updates didn’t happen I would say no but changes/updates happen so frequently.
Also some classes are more difficult for people to use compared to others and the game is going in a direction to make it more easier for people, probably because people that find the game difficult end up the people that leave the game.
Keep in mind when you create a new character you have to level up all the skill lines again and mount. Most people would rather leave the game then to go through all that grind again especially when they are already not impressed with the class they selected.
