As a StamSorc main I'm extremely doubtful.
The change to light/heavy attacks has very much effected this class' stamina playstyle to the point that Crystal Weapon and Bound Armaments are completely reworked... again.

✨🐪JUSTICE FOR APEX CAMELS 🐪✨ Bring 'em back, ZOS!
I've actually just been standing by watching the game's development after having not played for awhile, as I was excited to return. This is just more of the same update-fatigue inducing mass upheaval changes I remember taking a break over.
I distinctly remember the first time I experienced it first hand during the Murkmire -> Scalebreaker patch where DoTs were suddenly over-buffed to an obvious degree only to then be nerfed into a state worse than they were during the Murkmire patch.
At this point I can only really hope for a reversion of the vast majority of the class based combat changes (The gear based changes seem more acceptable).
In all honesty, I'm probably done playing until the Next Story DLC is released. I've got 2 characters with white High Isles maps and baring any events that catch my fancy I won't be back until the season ending dlc is released.
Only reason loaded and tested this one at all is because of all the uproar about it.

It would require a great deal of courage for them to admit that overwhelmingly critical and negative feedback to their proposed combat changes convinced them it was time to rethink and revise the update significantly.
I've given up hope on zos, not just in terms of managing the game, but their attitude towards the playerbase in general. It would be great if it happened of course, but I'm not holding my breath.
DPS/HPS are soo high now compared to early eso. In the beinning templar dps maximum output was comparable to current wall of elements... no joke! It was a real struggle killing anything solo. Any changes theyre making now are nothing compared to what it was.
Well, one would hope that they'd just scrap the combat changes. But, we all know they won't, given their history.
same XD if they scrapped it at this point and just released the dlc content id actually renew by ESO+. at this point that is quite literally the only option there is for the time window , as it stand it would need MAJOR changes , not some smaller tweaks like weve been seeing.....so even if there are changes , it wouldnt be enough in comparison to the fundamental issue with the combat changes. Hence as ive posted a few times now postponing and rethinking the changes for a later date is clearly the optimal choice....as it stands theyre already losing subs over this.....heck i hardly ever come onto the forums , i usually find game forums (posting on them anyway) to be rather......meh......overall. But i couldnt just sit back and be quiet about this. especially when opening chrome on my android i see quite a few negative articles about the combat changes alone......that is a massive wakeup call that these changes cannot go through if they want the game to survive. it is rare to see that many negative articles popup at the same time (i play alot of games and its odd for just ESO to be popping up like that). i will pray the devs are made well aware of this and scrap it outright for now , its only going to make things worse for the game and their profits.
Nope. Already moved most of my tankblade's gear to a different tank who isn't about to be nerfed to oblivion. Now I'm just trying to decide if I should turn him into a ganker or just let him sit there doing nothing for the foreseeable future.
I’m hopeful that tomorrows notes make U35 an even bigger nonsensical mess than they’ve managed so far.
The more people who come to their senses and stop supporting this nonsense with their time and money - the better. Were it not for this company getting their hooks into such a beloved and established IP - any other game balanced and mismanaged like this would have sunk long ago.
They haven’t deserved the dedication of each and every demographic within this playerbase in years and this patch is thankfully driving that home for more people than usual.
Templar has its main spammable turned into hot garbage, so my main is dead.
Warden got a 10% nerf from just one skill, on top of every other nerf the class and everyone else gets. So my secondary is pretty gutted.
Oakensoul got gutted unless you're a heavy attack build, and sorc got hit hard so my casual build got gutted, too.
Unless they change templar's spammable back to its old animation, that class is dead to me. Warden has a chance to be fixed a bit more tomorrow, but I doubt it'll be significant. Oakensoul will probably stay dead due to gatekeepers, so my sorc is also dead. Don't really see a ton of hope for tomorrow for what I play.
I know zos after all these years! the amount of marks they should hit in one patch note to make it right is too much for them.
maybe if we return in 2-3 years they made it right but in one pts they are too dumb to do that.
edited for bashing incoming.
I dont have high hopes for this coming patch, or any further ones.
They promised to balance skill morphs after the hybrid changes, but guess what they haven't finished that either.
Stam and mag templars are basically using 90% the same skills at this point for example.
Heck anyone remembers empowering sweep? I sure dont, since its main functionality is on a long aoe dot..
The question is how nonsensical the changes will be.
Just embrace the memes, it's past the point of constructive feedback. Imagine spending 3 weeks on PTS, testing, just to get 400k+ reso heavy attack on dds with next week's cycle?
We will probably see something similar.
Empower useless for PvP because of DK's. Oakensoul nerfed because of DK's. DoT's nerfed because of DK's. Templars nerfed because of DK's? O_o :P :P :P Sometimes it's hard to follow ZOS logic. I'll stay unsubbed till I see something more than just empty promises. Fortunetly I've managed to setup everything in such way I can do daily writs without crafting bag. It was easier than I thought. FInally I'm free, thanks ZOS.
Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.
"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge
