Do You have hope for Tomorrow's Final PTS patch?

Do you believe they will make sound adjustments tomorrow or will they try to find ways to keep all their nerfs and claim they raise the floor somehow? Do you have hope your fav or main class will still be playable as it is or are you expecting to have to rework it from the ground up AGAIN? I expect Templars to be still gutted and useless as well as oakensoul. I expect they will try to do just enough to calm the fervor. I hope I am wrong but I see nothing that says I will be. Their silence is deafening. I'm so disappointed with this PTS. I must be crazy, cause I still want to hope for positive changes tomorrow.

Well, one would hope that they'd just scrap the combat changes. But, we all know they won't, given their history.

Why you say tomorrow's the final patch? Don't we have Monday 15 for a patch too? DLC is released on Monday 22.

Tomorrow is the final patch. Tomorrow is PTS patch 5. There are always 5 PTS patches. They have been going up to 2 weeks before the release ever since they put this game on stadia I believe.

I'm hoping for announcement that combat and content changes will be delayed, but if that were to happen tomorrow I'd be very happpily surprised. Tomorrow I'm just expecting tweaks to Magblade and Magsorc since they literally promised that. Maybe a tweak to Empower to only apply to fully-charged heavy attacks and up the bonus to to make up for damage lost in the first two ticks on shock staff.

That's not completely true, as they keep working and patching in the PTS even if no notes are released.
That after tomorrow they don't realese further patch notes it doesn't mean they stopped working and no other changes and adjustments are made or coming.

In fact, they keep working and adjusting and whatever they do in these next two weeks you will have them in the Live notes when the DLC is released. This is what they have been always doing.

Tomorrow we may have the last notes to read, but the patching is not over.

They asked simply, Yes or No will there be a patch to test on the PTS on the 15th. The answer is NO

From a PvP perspective, no. [snip]
Maybe they'll make something passable in PvE for now. I hope so for the sake of players. [snip]

As I told you, not for us, but they will keep working and testing internally as always.

Tomorrow will not be the last changes we see before the DLC. Otherwise, the DLC would be launched tomorrow, or on Monday 15, but not, it's on Monday 22 because adjustments and so will keep going internally.

Noodle is here to stay, sadly. ZOS still thinks DKs throwing rocks is a great achievement and they won't throw away the animation change regardless of how terrible it is.

I will give them until the final patch notes come and deployed on live before deciding if there is any future for the game’s combat system. The game has so many good aspects but the combat system devolvement has been less than satisfactory for me for too long.

The whole removing the second trap from manifestation of terror, changing dark cloak for no real reason, zero improvements to bolstering darkness so it can be useful in end game content, was basically what has made me decide to pull back from spending money on the game.

Every class should be able to fulfill each role efficiently in their own unique way. I and other people should not have to beg for tools to do so. It’s annoying and I am not going to pay to be annoyed.

ZOS needs clearly explain this “vision” and what hoz, vert systems if any they have in the works. I am tired of the “surprise” features like the card game no one asked for. Sure, the card game is a nice add on but making it the star featured system of a chapter release is unsatisfactory to me. Where are the new weapon/spell lines?

I would gladly pay for fist weapons and void magic, but no they aren’t there. However, ZOS has all these funds to change surprise attack and other skills for the fifth, sixth time. It makes little sense to me.

And then there is quality of live stuff that I still can’t purchase like more bag and bank space (I am talking 100+ more slots), and more slots for my houses (700 is too small). And adding a in a siege bag for the siege weapons. Is that hard to add in a 50 slot siege bag?

Nope. The game we have on the PTS is a more horrible mess than we have on live, with DoT and buff timers all over the place, and the extremely awful medium weaving blowing light weaving out of the water, all thanks to their own knee-jerk reactions to the consequences of their own poor planning.
So, I am not inclined to give the combat team the benefit of the doubt anymore.

No. They have thoroughly destroyed the game with all these radical changes. PRP is in full swing. Player Reduction Program. Sad times.

Nope. The patch has to go gold at least two weeks before the release in order to qualify for Stadia. Consoles have a similar situation which is why they were always delayed by a period since the standards tend to be more strict there.

EDIT: Because the quote system on this forum is about the same quality as the game itself.

We wanted them to stop ignoring PTS combat feedback, and so the monkey's paw curled. Making yet more major changes on top of other major changes that nobody wanted in the first place... this is more worrying than the usual doing nothing.

Nope, the only thing I wanted changed was changed, but not in the way that would benefit me. So I am sure it wil be the exact same come final/launch.

Not at all. ZOS promised us since high isle that they will just go for minor changes on classes and weaponabilities. And yet again they come up with changes bigger than ever before. [snip] Im not payin Eso plus anymore on principals.

Eso is for me just an Ashes of Creations Waitingroom. The patch will decide if Eso will still be worth beeing a Waitingroom or not. I highly doubt that.

I said they couldn't see the consequences of their actions where PvP was concerned and released sets that break PvP because of it...of course that gets the snip. Too accurate for the forums.
