i find myself hating using self buffs because they take work to keep up. i miss for everquest buffs that just lasted for an hour or more.
Anyways, just what i dislike.
The latest notes I saw changed those that were going to 20s back to 10s. I guess I shouldn't complain since sorc shields are so small, short (duration), and expensive to cast that they are worthless and nightblade cloak lasts about 2.5 seconds and is also too expensive.
With performance in PVP so bad these days and bar-swaps working about 1/3 of the time that I press that control I too also dread having to keep bar-swapping and recast all my buffs as I know the bar-swap mechanic will fail me and I'll just end up dying.
Agree. Six second shields? Eight second combat prayer buff? Not worth slotting. I won't slot any buff that is less than ten seconds - and that is still pretty short.
With 500 ping most of the time i have a 3 second delay to skills so i have plan ahead as it were, that crushing weapon in the psygic line is 3 seconds long yeah nah never gonna happen never bothered with it for that reason 😆
I think the reason is because ESO doesn't have skill cooldowns, so short buffs and DoTs serve as a replacement, to give players something to juggle in combat - ie the standard MMO combat template.
