Is there any info on this? How things actually work?

ESO has alot of hidden info, some are shown via addons but still, for me a seasoned MMOer I want to know how things work so I can do the best of things.

A few examples:
- how does armor work? just how much more do xx more armor help?
- what are the effects of stats outside the tiny + health/stamina/magica I get?
- what are the effects of leveling? the Cyridiil AvA buff says something about resist pierce or something, I can see NO info about this anywhere in my char
- skill descriptions; they are for the most part bad, I have many questions when reading them
- how are experience and alliance points calculated?
- how are damage calculated?
- do weapon types have 'hidden' damage calculations and effects?
- ....

Yes, I have found some info on like when using weapon skill lines the weapon damage has an effect, but if you use all other skill lines weapon damage is irrelevant, can run around with a lvl 1 weapon. Things like this is for me, and I bet alot of more players, crazy and strange.

So; is there any good guide out there that have in depth info on the game mechanics?

Never got any reply to this, I have dug up some info here and there, but still having a lot of questions, like:
My char is now 50 vet 1, and I can hardly see any difference from level 49, if any at all.
What are the concrete advantages/advances from level 49 to 50 and to vet levels?
And what is the 'boost' lower levels get in PvP? Its obviously hidden, since also level 50s get the combat boost (which I was thinking was the lower level boost, which it clearly isnt...)
I am looking for numbers, hard info.
