What petty things have you done?

I have started to concede when I know I'm going to lose against someone using Orgnum. lol Oh, and, I.. sometimes... let the timer run out on the last turn if I'm going to lose. :'D

Helped organize a raid of 8 sorcs. Then hid in the closest Cyrodiil zerg and waited for an opposing ballgroup to show up. Doesn't matter how good your group is if it's primarily magicka based and you're always in a negate. It was good for a laugh.

If I'm fighting the mobs guarding a chest or a node, and someone swoops in there to grab it, I'll chuck a mud ball at them and then move on to the next one.

Just enough to remind them that I'm a real player, not a bot, and I don't appreciate them taking advantage of my effort.

Edit: in hindsight, I now realize this thread is in the Tales of Tribute thread. That'll teach me not to read my subforums.

Sometimes the Orgnum matches just aren't worth finishing. Especially when your opponent picks up a power card like Armory or Midnight Raid first turn and starts spamming Orgnum before you even had a chance to pick up any cards. If you spam Orgnum too you will never have gold to buy cards and they often don't buy cards because they already have what they need to win. So the tavern never refreshes and you can't get good cards. Or you can ignore Orgnum and try to build your deck. But by the time you have a few good cards, the game is already over.

    This struggle is so frustrating.

I find it oddly cute that there is an OP element in ToT. I thought it would be a blandly neutral take on a card game, but now I know there is a deck or two that are considered OP and game-ruining. Warms my heart.

I won a game of tot by getting over 40 prestige. The petty thing is that my opponent had 3/4 patrons with only duke left to switch so he would instantly win the game. With only 1 gold to switch duke, it would’ve been an easy win for them…except, I stacked 5 throw a card effects from duke’s contract and from different rahjin cards. My opponent had to throw away their entire hand and couldn’t afford 1 gold to win the game.

Taking my time to play my cards (slower than NPCs) when the other player has picked Orgnum and got a Rally or Raid on the first turn and started spamming right off the bat and clicking cards as fast as they can play.

That's not petty - that's following the game mechanics, lol. Petty would be your opponent doing what the OP did and, after all of their Bewilderments were discarded, sit and wait for the timer to run out.

Played 16 tutorial matches and then 16 matches againnst easy opponents. Two more to follow. Why? To make some extremely small progress, of course.

The Orgnum deck is unbalanced. I liked it, at first, but now I loathe it and hate it so much.

It’s petty because I made sure to make them as close to winning as possible and made them have to click to dismiss their entire hand. I could’ve mop the floor with them and 80’s prestige that game. I chose to give them the key to victory and forced them to throw it away.

I conceded a game which I had vowed never to do. But I was on a losing streak and just got the same opponent again after a particularly bad loss and I just couldn't do it again.

I do not like the Rajhin, The Purring Liar, Tribute Patron deck. Not one bit. I have run into a few players that choose this deck and every time they had 3 extra coins left over or they had no other moves they bought bewilderment. After 5-6 bewilderment cards I just conceded the match as it was just obnoxious to me. <
    (my opinion)

So I guess my petty move it conceding the match when that deck is chosen.

If you go over 40 prestige, is a patron victory still possible?

The rules read as if it is not, but is that just dumb phrasing?

The issue with Orgnum spammers would be resolved if the devs made it that you couldn't activate him again while Orgnum favours you like the Duke of Crows patron ability.

I conceded another game yesterday when my prestige was being removed every round until I was down to 1. There was no point in even trying at that point.

I've decided that the minute someone starts depleting my prestige or giving me a bewilder card every single turn I am going to just nope out. Games like that just aren't fun.

Recently i concede way too many times because i often gives my opponents good cards from the tavern, (after i bought the card it is replaced with an OP card that matches their combo building) while the tavern never gives me any good cards at all after the opponent bought any. So far my matches left me stomped with the score of 1 - 10 vs 40+

God, Rajhin is pretty much the only deck with direct negative effects on your opponent. I once combining it with Crows deck and making the longest combo i ever done.

It's so funny to me hearing everyone complain about Organum, then turn around and pick red deck lol. Like, Organum is not my favorite deck to play with and I definitely don't pick it unless I'm in a very strange mood, but it's probably the weakest deck in the game.

Where Organum becomes an RNG focused game is totally reliant on what other decks are in play. My first question to people complaining about "they got armory on turn one and turned the dial" is, ok, well who picked red deck? If they picked organum and red deck then yeah, that's the worst possible trolling of all, but if you pick red deck and then lose to RNG, that's your bad for making us play with the RNG deck.

In my opinion, the only "broken" deck is red deck, and the few nerfs they're putting out to it are NOT enough (raising coin cost by one doesn't help anything, especially armory where player 2 can still buy it on their first turn). Which brings us back to petty. When someone picks red deck and then I win, if rahjin is in play I try to make my last "move" turning the dial so that taunting laugh goes out.

it is very faint, I think you can even hear it when you select as a patron before the match. At least I hope I am not hearing things. LOL!
