Flame Skull and its morphs are now severely underwhelming when compared to other class spammabl

Skulls see very little use in both PvE and PvP. In PvP especially, they are almost useless; when compared to almost any other ranged spammable they lack in either damage or a unique extra effect. After seeing multiple patches with unique additions to the Warden's Cliff Racer, why have the Skulls not seen any sort of similar unique additions to promote their use?

I can't speak as to why they don't get used much in PvE (probably just a matter of lacking in effects or damage), but in PvP they are also extremely easy to avoid as they travel very slow and are easy to spot. Please consider either buffing the travel speed, damage, or adding a unique effect like the cliff racers have gotten. I would love to be able to actually use my class spammable without feeling like I'm gimping myself.

    Good luck asking anything for necro, I don't think anything in the kit received major changes like nightblade or sorc gets every big patch, maybe the stam scythe getting guaranteed offbalance and hemorrhage...
    And while I agree flame skull is underwhelming, I would rather any other necro skill get a buff/rework because honestly that skill is tacky as *** and I'd rather not have to slot it if it becomes good lmao.
    Grave grasp, remote totem, animate blastbones (which could make a great offensive ult with some work), mystic siphon, deaden pain morph, spirit guardian morph which will become a RP skill next patch... take your pick.

    Unfortunately, it seems to be the fate of Necro. The skills look beautiful, but many of them are mediocre. Skulls, blastbones, grasp, now spirit guardian and mage are getting hit too. Think we're running out of skills lol

    Necro is king of DPS in PvE now. It is hardly time for buff.
    Yeah, magCro don't feel like top, but it is because all magicka variation are weak now. ZOS need us buy nuew chapter and farm Coral set insted Bashei.
    PvP - Recruit.
    PvE - Dragon food
    RPG - A guy who thought, that he can defeat daedric prince, yet guards still chase him off when he accidentally touches some object during daily writs.

    cliff racer still isn't that great because they don't listen to our feedback. if it's powerful that's because it's raw output is like that, but it's usability isn't good and it's design is awful.

    Ignoring the changes on PTS which completely throw out game balance... I’m talking about the version of Flame Skull on LIVE.

    The goal should be to have Necros slot Flame Skull instead of Silver Shards. Imo what needs to be done is:
    • Venom Skull explodes for 75% of the damage to nearby targets, and applies the Poisoned Status effect to all targets struck. This would let us slot it over Silver Shards.
    • Richochet Skull bounces every time you cast it, and it can bounce up to 6 times. If it has already struck all nearby targets, it can return to strike targets which have already been struck, but deals 50% less damage to them each time (cannot ricochet from the target onto itself).

    Again, the goal is to make it superior in its own way to Silver Shards.

    This. Currently (and from what I've seen in parses on PTS) there is no reason to slot either morph of skulls over other spammables. It feels bad when you can't use your class spammable on any class.

    This would be a godly change.

    One thing though would be to define the radii of each skill. Perhaps 5 or 6 meters of cleave for the Stam AoE and 8 or 9 meters for the Mag bounce?
