Battle Spirit Changes w/out OakenSoul Equipped

When you don't have Oakensoul equipped when BattleSpirit is active you gain the following stats...

10K Health
10K Magika
10K Stamina
45K Resistance
10K weapon/spell damage
95% damage resistance when not blocking
1K Magic Recovery
1K Stamina Recovery
3K Health Recovery

This post is simply to show that how unfair a request can be. Be honest with yourself about the ring and its buffs. Major Force, Major Berserk, Major Heroism, and Major Courage are a bit too much on the ring and should be removed to bring the ring in line with other mythical items and gear sets.

If you all continue to push to keep the ring as is I see no issues with the request above about buffing players who forgo the ring for more stats.

If you want the buffs you use the ring. If a player wants to forgo the ring, no buffs for him, he has to 2-bar for some and rely on group for others.

And wow the hyperbole with those buffs lol.

Most of the people who use the ring also will tell you how busted it is. I get it, though. I could see that if a player was struggling to kill or survive without the ring they would be more apt to defend it.

I have the ring. I simply hate using things (gear, abilities, etc) that are broken and causes imbalance. It's why I didn't use dark convergence when it first came out.

Sorry, I'm a little lost. What do you mean by hyperbole with those buffs when the ring literally gives those buffs?

I understand why people are upset, it's rewarding a simplified gameplay over complexity. It's a massive meta shift from the designed combat system that has existed since launch.

The ring will stay, but like a majority of mythic items be nerfed or adjusted, just as past mythic items where.

I do agree though, if you want to stay competitive, get the ring and start exploiting it's capabilites

The ring gives 95% damage resistance, 10k to all stats, 3k health recovery etc.?

This. Name a previous mythic close to its power that did not get nerfed.

The best we can do is discuss ways to make the ring not so OP in PvP while keeping it good in PvE. I'm a big fan of using Slayer and Aegis to replace Heroism and Damage buffs that are unique or hard to obtain on a 3 bar build without raid support lol.

Not so sure with how they're also limiting the need to weave and constantly apply buffs and DoTs.

They're trying to simplify combat, and Oakensoul fits well into that. Wear it, get your buffs, don't worry about bar swapping. Or don't wear it, bar swap for your buffs and they last longer so you're not constantly swapping.

We shall see.

Minor versions of those are not that bad to be honest. They didn’t Nuke it

It's still decent but now two bars will outpace it considerably. Coil, Magma and IB will be much better and ult spam will be much less prevalent. I only hope they consider few better adjustments for magsorc for the following pts patches.
