PC-NA - frequent disconnects when changing zones after last major Update 34

Has anyone else had very frequent disconnects when changing zones after Update 34? A friend of mine from Australia has a similar issue but I didn't know if this was the norm or not. It seems like ZOS breaks the game every other major update.
