So, I can't play in a ranked game for another 6 days 22 hours? Rather kills the momentum a bit...

Just logged on to play my daily ranked game. I've been losing a bit the last few games so thought today may be luckier. But no, I found Ranked Competitive is locked. "No competitive ToT season is active". To be fair, I had lost track of the length of time remaining in this season, so that bit is on me...
So I checked in the Leaderboards, which shows no rankings, and says it reopens in 6d 22h (and falling). Yet at the same time, another timer says 'closes in 2d 5h...'.
This is confusing, either the season is closed or it's open. Which is it? Or is this another aspect of the issues with the leaderboards?
Also, doesn't the delay of another 6d 22h before you can play another competitive game rather kill the mood and momentum of what is a rather decent game underneath all the bugs and flaws? All I can do to complete the daily is an unranked casual. Isn't that going to pit me against higher Roister's Club ranked tryhards with all the decks I haven't got yet? That'll be fun...

Rouz✭✭✭I mean you have access to the same decks that everyone else does. And if you're playing ranked, you will still be fighting players with the all the cards unlocked. That doesn't determine anything. The season just ended. They've got a lot of balancing/changes they need to do. Give em some time to get things fixed before starting another season. 1 week isn't that bad. Unranked is not all that different. If you can't win games in unranked, you can't win them in ranked...0 -
griffrawk✭✭Playing in unranked is the least of my concerns thanks. Perfectly capable of playing with players who have greater experience of decks I can't yet train myself up with against NPCs, I've met quite a few with extra decks already, and also perfectly capable of winning ranked games against them too.
However, the point of my post is being missed that there are misleading timers regarding when seasons start and end.
I can only hope that the next week's patch has some decent fixes.0 -
