Playing another person today in ToT and they had 45 prestige after turn five (Novice level). Is that even possible without cheating?

Given the announcement for tomorrow's hotfix, I now wonder If I was on the receiving end of the identified exploit. The other player's rapid accumulation of prestige far exceeded anything I had observed with all other players I competed against.

That would be an average of 9 prestige per turn. I'd think the highest you can have after turn 1 would be a prestige of 4, but I might be wrong about that.

Presumably the maximum prestige gain for any given turn would steadily increase, so the numbers would presumably have to go something like the following:

End of turn 1 = maximum gain of 4 prestige, or sum total of 4
End of turn 2 = maximum gain of 6 or 7 prestige, or sum total of 10 or 11
End of turn 3 = maximum gain of 9 prestige, or sum total of 19 or 20
End of turn 4 = maximum gain of 11 or 12 prestige, or sum total of 31
End of turn 5 = maximum gain of 14 prestige, or sum total of 45

Note that I have no idea if the above assumptions are correct, let alone possible, since I'm not familiar with all of the cards and upgrades for each of the patron decks.

It is very possible, it's hard to say how they did it, because there are different tactics but a way to get big hands is if you combine the right duke of crow and pelletine cards you can potentially stack power and coin.

Power converts to prestige and coin can be converted to power by favoring the duke of crow patron, resulting in a large amount of prestige.

There are other patron combinations that work very well to stack large amounts of prestige.

Unfortunatly your message will not reach most that would concede when the match is a certain loss.

They probably got a lucky hand of Red cards. There are red cards that award quite a lot of power, if they were fortunate enough to get some in their hand fairly quickly, they'd be able to turn all that power into prestige. It sounds like an RNG win. For example, "The Armory" awards 5 power and 1 coin per play, and is a low level card so you can get it pretty early.

It depends on the cards and patrons you are using. For example, it's possible there was some contract card on the table that awarded power and they started out with a power card.

The crow patron is very strong and I tend to use it as an execute, and some people are very good at ToT.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Did the get the Pelin card that gives 7 power, and at the last turn did they have a lot of gold which they traded for the crow patron at the end?

I love the game but am struggling, now. I hit at a wall at rank 98 and haven't been winning, really, at all. There is much left to RNG. Higher up in the ranks, a lot of people use the Sorcer-King deck, which is really hard to beat if they are at like 15 and you're at 5. I've come up with a counter that's effective, but still leaves the win down to what cards are available.

Starting to hate the Orgnum deck.
